Hooray for quoting everyone!

The portal seems okay but then I'm not on it much to check. Hello there andra364 long time no see. Well things passing is nothing new mass voting I guess still happens. But its not as bad as last summer with the infamous Duck Devision they were the worst. I did see one submission by RR Robert Rangers old group. Been watching Bioshock on YouTube really cool although I don't really like FPS games much, but this game looks cool.
Yeah, I saw that. I tried to help with blamming them, but to no avail. Thankfully, like you said, it isn't so bad. It's nice to see you still hanging around; now I have something to aim for. :)
As for Bioshock, that game has been the one thing keeping me sane while I've been away on forced leave. I love it. Still, it is a bit weird for my tastes.

Well Andrea, I agree with you wholeheartedly. There have been way too many spam submissions making it through the portal. Hell, I even submitted 2 flashes on Clock Day last year, speaking of which, it is in 2 months and 5 days, and I submitted them to prove a point. Sadly, that point was proven.
Yeah. Indeed. I'm surprised that half of my crap got through. Anyway, on to happier things. :)
Speaking of Clock Day, which I missed last year, how many of you are going to sit at your PC and vote all day?
People are not taking the time to vote fairly and thus it feels like I'm dying a little on the inside every time I see a [KK] submission get through. T_T
That's true for me too, but to a lesser extent. While I don't like a lot of spam flash that gets through, I know it's not just the KK, and I have to admit, some of the KK stuff is actually good. It's like Eagle mentioned about the role reversal stuff. So that brings me to my point, which by now, I've entirely forgotten. Perhaps I should have a go at getting another energy drink to keep me awake.

I know what you mean, I've felt it before. But as bad as some of the KK spam might be, I at least like it better than all those crappy games that other websites were submitting until a few weeks back. Somehow I have a feeling that this summer is going to keep my interest in NG better than last one did.
I have to agree here. I'm not liking all these games being submitted by sites on here. A lot of it makes me wonder if they were stolen. I know how easy it is to get a .fla file off of the internet, especially off of a game site that doesn't restrict downloading content. Still, it doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forward to the rest of my summer.

Haha...you just might be right. However, I often vote 1 when something is borderline blam-worthy, only because it's the fair thing to do. Just like I don't automatically 5 something that I want to protect, I figure all six numbers should be used. However, most of the stuff that is considered spam usually doesn't give me the moral dilemma of choosing between a 0 and a 1... :-)
I have to agree here as well. (I'm agreeing a lot today . . weird) I generally vote in the 1-3 range. If a flash is spam, like you said, I vote zero. If it's not and it just sucks, I vote either one or two, depending on how much it sucks. If it's normal, I vote two or three, and if it's exceptional, I vote above that. Depending on my mood, this can change.
Ehh...I just think it's fair. A prime example of voting 1 for a flash is something that is made by a relative amateur and it is borderline. I consider it close to being good enough, but not quite. Usually, in that case, I give it a 1 and I figure if it gets blammed, I was right. Otherwise, I was judging too harshly. But, of course, that's my personal style. Everyone votes differently.
My voting style, which I already went over, is pretty similar. I tend to be pretty forgiving to amateurs. I usually give a two, since probably tried really, really hard, and I know how much they really want to have a flash on the site. If it's really crappy though, hell with it, I vote one. Either way, I think it's fair. Like you say, everyone votes differently. If they didn't, NG would be pretty boring, what with everything getting the same score. Hell, I'd cry.
Of course, Slash has become the poster-child for getting pissed off at spammers getting their way. He's the king of role-reversals.
Yeah. It's almost cute. =-b
but enough of my fangirling, haha, I have work to do.
Last I checked. :-) Keep fighting the good fight!
Will do. :)
Sleep is good (so I've heard). Of course, depending on who you talk to, it's overrated. Either way, enjoy and welcome back!
Apparently, it's the second option for me. I was asleep for like . . forever, and I'm still just as tired as the day before. Well, there's always trying again, right?
One way everyone can think of it as is that the spammers are keeping us in business. :-P If Newgrounds was perfect, we all know if would be just a bit boring.
Ah, there's the optimism that keeps me going. I have to agree here too. If not for the spammers, I would be really, really bored. I'd probably end up watching every flash ever made, leading me to go on a quest of soul searching and looking for the meaning in my life.
Anyway, since I'm here I wanted to ask, where is everybody? Last time I checked, which was like forever ago, this was prime time.
I'll be in the portal! =-D
