anyway the number of EGSC will be everincreasing. i don't think that's a big problem what does it really matter if there are 10 or 10 000 EGSC? i think that even after you reach EGSC you can still shoot for other things. you can shoot for a rank in the top 50 B/P for instance.
i think the next year or so will be a very intresting time for the top 50 B/P many changes. maybe in one or two years there will be the same problem with the ranks as there is with the levels. I think that the question can still be adressed then. but as for now there's still to much movement on the top of the rankings to justify adding rankings.

Officer positions here are given in response to devotion and leadership to the Barracks. They are not given due to desire. In this way, the natural leaders stand out and those that are devoted to the club stand out as well.

Yeah, I didn't post last night. I was on AWOL so I could see the latest wrestling PPV. It was awfully fun seeing John Cena regain the title, considering everyone boos him now. Good point, sir. However, I think the system might stand for a bit of change. I can't imagine adding ranks to the Elite Guard, though...what could you add? I guess you could get imaginative and add ranks like "Citizen on Patrol" (a crispy nod to the Police Academy series) between Citizen and Safety Patrol. Other than that, you might be able to shove a few more ranks in between the Elite Guard, like Elite Guard Specialist (between PFC and Corporal) and more Warrant Officer ranks.

Either way, it'd still be nice to get EGSC sometime in the future, so I better keep my mouth shut. :-)

Portal is slow recently... But the last B/P ranks 51+ update encouraged me to continue B/Ping as much as possible until I reach Captain... Back to work...

I was thinking that there should be a way to reward users who continue to b/p. That's why it might be a good idea to have a few more ranks, but ofcourse they would have to be VERY spaced out like 1 rank for every 10,000 b/p just for those users who do go the extra mile.

I think theres gonna be over 100 EGSC by Febuary next year. It's gonna multiply as the years go by. This is why I think so.

Feb 2nd, 2004 5 EGSC
Feb 3rd, 2005 13 EGSC
Jan 30th, 2006 46 EGSC (47 is you count SevenStar)

2004-2005 the # of EGSC nearly tripled.
2005-2006 the # of EGSC tripled, then some.

i really don't understad what problem you see with the number of EGSC, that's completely irrelevant.

the reward is the increased vp by depositing. and having a huge vp. the fulps count on it that after 30.000 b/p you're hooked on ng and still continue to visit anyway. besides do you know at what rate ramagi and joe and so can go? even with one rank up for every 10.000 pts they'ld need a new rank at least every two months .

I am back to the Barracks after two day's absence because of my tests and homework. Moments ago, my lovely girfriend hot_and_charming informed what the NGPD members need to go to avoid themselves, even the whole department banned/locked by the mods. I checked the NGPD moments ago and people seem to be appreciated with the post which is a great sign. In addition, I also saw a new guy there (forgot his name) who has posted a lot of meaningful threads. I believe that everything will be back to order again very soon there. :)
