Thought I'd bring up a good, fresh review of a classic, not-too-old game.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
This game is an RPG set 4000 years before the timeline of Episode I. It is the pinnacle of gaming acheivement by a Star Wars label...nay, it is the pinnacle of gaming, period. This game blew me away. Great graphics, great storyline, great characters.
You start out as a Republic officer, and you can make decisions along your path towards the Dark or Light side. A little bit into the game, you become a Jedi and are sent on a mission to...what else...save the universe.
Great gameplay and combat elements. The game introduces you to some puzzles, trivia, and situations that you have to decide the outcome. Jedi powers can be gained as you level up, including the awesomeness of Force Lightning.
You travel along the 10 amazing locations it gives you, some above star stations...some on the surface of planets...all done very well. Tatooine has the signature two suns, Kashyyyk has the magnificent forests, and the planets created for this game are very well crafted.
Your party includes droids, Jedi, a Republic officer, a Twilek, a Mandalorian, and even a Wookie.
Like I said, this game is the best game I have ever come across. Full 10 out of 10...5 out of 5...whatever the scale is, it tops it.
