Don't worry, Mogly, people from other countries on NG are usually some of the rare in their country that DO speak english well at their age, like me :D
You could also see a few Canadiens on French forums, probably one or two, and I'm sure the french people would say the same thing you just said...
Just so you know, it doesn't mean 99% of swedish people speak english :P
