If we were able to change the colour of our text it would be abused to high heaven by spammers. Admins can change their text colour but don't, as there is no need for it (they do however have a nice bright white text rather than our dirty white as default). liljim demonstrated his text colour manipulation skills here .

Yeah yeah but that's not really answering my question because it's not a clear yes or no. I know there is HTML that works with coloured text, tried one last night and it didn't work. I know there are others so that is why I'm asking if James has disabled 'said HTML'.

You'd have to ask James (liljim) about that. There may be a work around which lets you colour link text, but this may well have been fixed and disabled. If it hasn't I think the method is being kept a secret. All I know is that there isn't a function that specifically lets you colour your text.

Ah, thank you my good man for giving me the answer. Removed due to abuse is reasonable I guess, but it did seem like a lot of fun, well METAPHORCE sure did abuse the hell out of it.

It was never removed, because it was never enabled. The users who managed to pull off coloured text were taking advantage of a bug, which was fixed. There's a difference.
