I've been reading this whole thread. It's extremely amsuing.

Everyone that posts here at NG that has even the squinchiest bit of intelligence gets fed up with it. By "it" I mean all-around stupidity, duplicity, and animosity. Some make long drawn out rants about it. Others just leave, never to be seen again. Still others suck it up, and try to make do.

But...if this is going to seriously turn into a 'mods suck, they should do their job' I can totally show you how awful it would be if we banned for every infraction of the rules without breaking any myself.

Even if the forum is full of"____ sucks" threads there is nothing saying you have to actually read the threads. If you see soemthing with the word " Sucks" in the title then avoid it. if you see a thread entitled " Xbox > PS2" then avoid it. It's not hard to take a look at topics and work out which ones will probably interest you.

And who cares if a pre-pubescent teenage kids fire sof his opinions like theya re facts? Who cares if a 20 year old does it? if they wanna be idiots then let them be idiots. it does not affect you in anyway what so ever.

So, as this topic has reached 15 pages, possibly more, we've pretty much seen the true side of people in an arguement. There are those people who will fight their arguement to the bitter end.

There are people who will act a fool by pointing out every mistake, like "OMFG UR NAME IS SPEL'D INKOREKTLY, TAKE UR OWN ADVICE"

There are people who "agree" and nothing more

There are a few intelligent people.

There are people who will read this and god forbid learn something.

There are people who take it as a joke.

There are plenty of people reading this, and they all interpret it differently.

People complain about mods. Sure, they are only doing a free service, and you say they do a great job of it all the time, but they don't. You expect them to be super intelligent people, but they aren't all the time, and they can't be perfect. Although sometimes they get modship through various ways.... They have to deal with your shit all the time. Sure, you may not like their attitude one time, but then when they change, you don't like that either, so PICK ONE.

Well I finally had the time to get back on my computer for a couple of minutes. And of course being the revird tool I am, I have to agree. I'm also happy to see a rant that for once was more directed at the members rather than the staff. Because frankly I'm sick of hearing people say, "WOW, I WAS BANNED FOR POSTING IN A SPAM TOPIC, NEWGROUNDS SUCKS NOW I'M LEAVING."

I also find the irony in this topic funny. Including all the people (myself included) who have to put their 2 cents in on the irony even though 20 people before them have. So yes I am a hypocrite, sue me. The people who just copied stuff he said not to do, and posted them, you are about as funny as carrot top. And to all the people who even quoted them, that's exactly what they want, attention, because they are all probably pathetic people (like me) who just want someone to notice them on the internet because no one does in real life.

If you ask me that's the biggest problem on Newgrounds now. Everyone wants to be noticed. Everyone has to try to be funny or try to be smart or try to make a post that will get peoples attention because they can't get peoples attention in life. I'm not saying making a joke or a good post means you are attention whore I am talking about the kids who make stupid pointless things just to get people to quote them. Once again, I know I am a hypocrite.

So before I get sucked back into the internet that I spent weeks trying to get off, great points you made guys. And really... get outside.

It's just unfortunate that when you're in an online environment like this, it get's easy to sometimes let that kind of writing leak into your own posts and reviews (at least it has been for me in the past). I'm nice again, now, but being around assholes can rub off on people if they're not careful. Thanks for voicing it.
