November is almost over, so will we get an update in December? If nobody else wants to do it, I volunteer. I would be more than happy to make it a monthly event once again.

Indeed, would be fun (but still probably a bit depressing) to see what progress has been done since that last update. It's been a while again...

Haha. XD All the more important a reason! Yeah, I'm curious about that too now...

I agree. I have waited long enough, so I decided to volunteer to do it. It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.

I will make the updates every month. None of this every few month nonsense. You have to give the people what they want.

Yeah you're on a roll now too lately. :) Married and all... I thought you'd actually have less time these days!
Yeah it's strange over the years I have some free time and some years no time at all for reviewing or ng at all but my job is really good and I'm more established in my later years here so I guess I have more time depends some days though

Gotta get myself a job like that eventually. :) Sounds ideal.

Both of you guys are reviewing machines. Not sure how you find the time to crank so many out.
Once I am allowed to take over this list, you will both know your monthly results without worry.

Well I had a free day yesterday; actually spent pretty much the entire day reviewing... against my better judgment. XD Feels good when you're on a roll though. Those days are few and sporadic...
I'm sure you would, though as long as Auz has been managing this one... hope he's here for a while yet!
Doc. / Cyber
Yeah those kinds of days are pretty good they for sure can put some drain on the brain at times and eyes well for me the eyes lol you young lady probably not so much strain as this old guy lol

I am sure that you could do about thirty reviews in one sitting.

I have asked before about managing an update list. I think its about time for it to finally happen.

Then do it. Waiting for permission while saying you're definitely gonna do it just comes off as annoying. Go ahead and do it, please.

Well I'm not a lady. :P But for sure, the eyes do take a toll after a days worth of ogling the screen... guess that's part of the 'against my better judgment' bit too. Should be getting away from the screen a bit more. Taking breaks. Conserving my skills of perception for future reviews too!

Probably. :)

Aha, well IMO best honor the list holder there; take over if they allow it. Would be a bit strange if multiple people start competing with the updates in these threads.

That would be weird but it doesn't necessarily have to be the case. If the list's users are notgetting the updates they need for whatever reason (I don't know Auz' circumstances, so I can't reqlly blame him), I feel like Strongbad should be allowed to update the list for him, at least this one time. He doesn't necessarily have to take over, but at least do this one update.

Well I feel that if such is the case the OP should at least give permission first, unless he's really fallen off the face of the planet. Auz leads a busy life; isn't always around, so for that to happen there should be quite a long threshold on time, IMO. There are plenty of lists that really have been abandoned, with an official closing message and years with no updates. Bringing one of those back with a new owner would be a different thing. As an officially assigned list holder, OP or both it wouldn't feel right to have a list I managed hijacked under my leave though, even if it is for a good cause. Honor among list holders, maybe? ;) That's my stance anyway.

I agree with this. We should wait for @Auz to have some say. I know there hasn't been an update in a while, but Auz's updates were always so thorough and well-organized. I'd imagine formatting them can be frustrating and time-consuming, and it's best if we make sure that the quality of the updates are maintained, not just the quantity.

Auz, is the one that normally does it. I wrote a PM and was waiting for permission, as a sign of respect. I was the first to announce my intentions. We will see how this all plays out.

Yeah, I know, I'm sorry. It's just that it was a bit weird. On one hand you were basically talking like you were some sort of saviour, and then you said you were waiting for permission. Can you see why that was weird?

I understand how things work around here, and It can be a slow process. Also, I am trying to be respectful to the person currently in charge of the list. You can't just hijack a list. At the very least, I am bringing awareness to the issue of the Review List not being updated every month.
Hello, All.
Maybe I can be of some assistance here in the matter of list management. I have been working on a new site that combines NGLOGS with monthly list management; as a user, you can log in every day and get your stats, and on the last day of the month, I run a program that scans ALL users and creates monthly records for automated list reporting.
The site is in beta, but it is functional. You can check out the current automated lists here:
If you sign in as yourself, your stats are automatically captured/presented for the day. As for the reports, the data selection is monthly, and is for the end of the month - IE, the "October 2018" information is as of 10/31/2018. November is an option, but it won't be complete until 11/31/2018, so stick with October 2018 or before.
On that list link, you can select which list report you want, and the month - and it will be displayed. All columns are sortable, and you can also download the report as a CSV to do with as you please.
I will add more lists as requested; I had synch'd the data with NGLOGS as of March, and I will resynch it all again when we go live. The whole idea is to create a single site where all user stat requirements can be handled as automatically and easily as possible.
I do have a "top 200 reviewers" list, which might be a good starting point for the monthly list here. As noted, the data is good as of the end of the month, so on 12/1/2018 you could release an updated list as of 11/30/2018.
Please feel free to use the beta site instead of NGLOGS; I will clean up the individual history in a few weeks, so no need to double - log on both sites.
I will also be adding more functionality and graphs and analysis as we go; any ideas for "gee, wouldn't it be great if we could get ..." are all welcome.
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving; give the new site a try and let me know what you think.
Cheers!

Likewise! It's been fun to see this new interface evolve; improve; all start working like it should. The only bug that seems to persist for me is how numbers on the daily stats page scuttle around a bit outside their boxes when you hover above them. Using FireFox if it's a browser thing.
As for other features, was thinking recently it'd be pretty cool with the ability to compare stats between two different snapshots (points in time). Either for the same user or for different ones. Was looking around for something like that but it doesn't exist (yet) does it?
This should definitely be helpful for all of these lists, once that transition's finally made, like it seems to have been for this one...

That would be very helpful to everybody. Do you have to use a password every time, or just your user name?

Right now, only admins need a password - the general user population does not require one

If you need the data in a different format than what the CSV provides, please let me know . But in the meantime, anyone can just pop over to the site to get a general idea of how they stand.

Woah, so fast... I'm still not nearly where I was before that recent drop. Congrats though @XwaynecoltX! A massive amount yet again!
