You pretty much just summed it u, a photoshop version of NG, just without b/p points, and there are a hell of alot of mods lol, you should check it out sometime myst.

For Myst: The RetroGade Report

Retrogade is similar to Newgrounds in a few ways. They have levels and an experience system, they have many NewGrounds users there(including admin like gfox, QuikFox and ShittyKitty, who's running the site now, I think), they reviews and that as well. The main difference is that there are photoshops instead of flashes, which is still cool, 'cause there are great ones on there(QuikFox and Louisa are just two of the best artists there).

The main attraction is the RG Cash System, a unique system to be sure. You gain RG cash for voting on submissions, reviewing and posting, plus you can get donations from people and you can do the same for them. You spend money to add polls and pictures to your posts and topics, as well as buying differing colored smiley sets.

A new, exciting system was just added to increase your cash flow: The RG Lottery. Now you can buy tickets with your RG cash and enter for a chance to win more RG cash. SK is also going to be implementing a Roulete game, for the same purpose: gaining RG cash.

They have forums as well, of course, which are similar to here, yet not very busy. The site does not have many active users, but is nearing it's 1000th profile creation.

Whew. I'm not used to long posts.

Yeah, Clubs & Crews is a fairly friendly place for people to discuss related interests. Such a great forum. It seems a lot friendlier now than it was, though, I will admit. That just may be for the clubs I'm in, though.

Anyway, just a little tip:

When most people say "banned" here on the BBS, they tend to mean a BBS ban. Those tend to last between 1 and 7 days, though they can be longer.

If people mean review banned, they'll say it that way (unless it's obvious they're talking about the reviewing area of NG). There are also portal submit bans and, as you point out, an IP ban or account deletion, the most extreme bans.

I apologize for getting you all pissed off. I seem to bring out the worst in everyone at all times.

I wasn't all that pissed off... at least not as much as I was acting like I was. I was mostly trying to EMPHASISE my points to drive them home to you and anyone else who doesn't understand review rules from time to time. I'm afraid I must disagree with you two on this matter. As I've often mentioned (and whined about, yes, I'll admit it)... had I not missed so many deposits between 2000 and 2002, I'd have a 15.80ish VP myself...

but since I did... the only way that can happen is if a lot of people (and most importantly HT, Pimp, Shrapnel, etc.) miss a lot of deposits in the coming years while I get every single one of mine in... or if NG continues under the current system for decades and decades. That's how much damage can result from just 2 or so years of neglect. ;_;

Anyway, my point is that no one can help me with that now. So no one should be helping NemesisM66 now on the other end of the VP equation (b/p, that is, instead of exp) just so he can make it nearly impossible for anyone else on the site to ever get to the #1 spot in VP (like it's not already nearly impossible enough! #;-}>).

In short: he should take his time to get up to 15+ in VP, as that is going to take away a lot of people's hopes and dreams, however awe-inspiring it would be to see it. He will get to EGSC sooner or later, so just be patient and enjoy the fact that he hasn't completely ownzored us all yet. ;_;

1,000 is a lot of posts. And ozcar is a mod so he has a responsibility to view the bbs and make sure nobody is out of line. I've noticed that ramagi has really been gaining a lot in terms of post counts. She really seemed to have picked up the pace after becoming a mod.

yea, alkador most likely plotted that purposely because he knew it would cause some people to react and it would make his little portal war to have more recognition. We all know that everything he posts with that mini war is fictional which means it's completely un-true.

Well, to be honest, I did not expect these many comments in the story. To be honest, and this will go to RedCircle's shock, I write as I go and I only have a basic idea of the storyline. The only story that was really planned was the end of Part 1 and start of Part 2. And how can we be sure it's fictional hmmm? Mazza admitted it all to me, so there's no more hiding secrets now. ;)

Apart from that, well done to Qwoxyl for 666 rank in experience. I remember when RedCircle obtained that.

Anyway, I was going to post the update the story this afternoon, but what's the point of a story if the readers aren't kept on edge? I also need to save more flashes as my blam/save rank is floating just above 1,200 now. Shows that the road is long down here.
