6 - “A Power”
“It seems there’s no way out of this,” Mumbled RedCircle. “What should we do?”
“We should run,” Stuttered randyrandy. “They look scary.”
“If we take about 5 each,” Thought Drimarki. “Then we should be alright.
”Too many…these…’beasts’ are too strong,” Growled D0GMA. “If only I could use the Power.”
“Power?” Asked Qwoxyl. “What’s that ‘Power’?”
“Think of something guys!” Moaned Recon_Rebel. “They’re closing in!”
The white skinned creatures moved closer, grunting to each other, as if making a plan. They grunted as one of the creatures screeched, and all the creatures took off, flapping vertically into the sky.
“Get your weapons!” Roared a voice behind them.
Two people behind the group in the light, holding rods encrusted with pink gems.
“Ramagi, Yoink?” Gasped Slightly_Crazy_Dude. “What are you doing here?”
“Not now,” YoinK_VineS said. “Just do as I said.”
Everyone agreed and equipped there weapons. Randyrandy gasped when he saw ramagi, tightly gripping his lollypop as he did so. It seemed that this was not the first time that he had seen her.
YoinK_VineS and ramagi held hands as they both muttered at the same time.
“Universus noster vis vires. Geminus extermino!”
As the beasts came down from the sky, ready to slam into the ready group, ramagi and YoinK_VineS pointed their rods at the falling enemies, a blast of red energy escaping the rod and firing towards the creatures, burning the monsters that were ready for kill.
Everyone equipped their weapons as they attacked the falling creatures, still burning amidst the flames that covered them, as if immune. Everyone attempted to strike blows against the wild demons, making sure that they were not struck back. Recon_Rebel ensured that he struck all the monsters, so that he could become stronger in the future.
The submissions fell after many strikes and no one was attacked by the frenzied creatures who attempted rid of the flames that failed to burn them. Randyrandy sliced his lollypop through the beasts, shocked to see them still alive after being cut. He roared and smashed his weapon on the screaming beats, ignoring the men who waved their bats wildly, hoping to get a hit and put an end to the madness that surrounded them.
Everyone panted as they stopped attacking, noticing that all the creatures had fallen, with blood stains on the ground, on their weapons and clothes.
“Thank you for helping us,” Smiled XwaynecoltX. “I believe we would have been in great trouble if you didn’t arrive in time.”
“That’s alright,” Replied YoinK_VineS. “It seems that the virus has reached its second stage.”
“Virus?” Wondered FIGMENTUM. “What virus?”
“There is a virus that has infected the portal and many submissions, making them go wild. It was released two months ago and it seems that the submissions have adapted to the virus, becoming stronger. We need to re-seal the portal as well as to prevent any more submissions from escaping.”
D0GMA stepped towards ramagi, studying her carefully. “Where did you obtain that rod?”
Ramagi laughed. “If you wish to use the Power, I’m afraid I can’t let you. You still have much to learn.
“Shall we be off to de portalb?” Sniffed BonusStage, who seemed to be recovering at a rapid rate.
“It’s just over the hill.” Responded FIGMETUM.
“Let’s go and stop this ‘virus’, whatever it is. There should be some supplies at the portal, so we can clean ourselves up and get ready.”
“Whoa, wait up!” Yelled Inuzuka-Kiba. “Ramagi, what is the ‘Power’? And how di–“
RedCircle had pulled Inuzuka-Kiba as he continued talking. They journeyed on, with one hill until they reached the portal itself.
