j00bie, my first Flash to NG, and my first Flash game (7 Kisses) got through with a 3+ score. Why? Because I put effort into it, and wasn't prepared to submit any old crap. I know you too well now to expect you to actually bother learning the full potential of the program, but I'm disappointed that you can't be arsed spending some time producing a Flash that actually merits good score, particularly when you're submitting something as a tribute to your late pet's memory. Yeah, the graphics on that are pretty good. This one:Incoming was the first one I saw of the same style. I'm just surprised that no-one else (that I've seen) has managed to figure out the 360 degree thing yet, it's really not that advanced in terms of scripting...

It's awlays useful to see something like that though, because it can supply some much-needed inspiration for future versions. I've gone into hibernation Flash-wise for a bit though so work on Overrun II is currently paused

I started out with Flash 5, currently on MXPro2004. It doesn't really matter which version you have, they're all capable of amazing things.
It took me about a week to grasp the concept of Flash, the timeline and that was a whole new thing. Once I'd got that sussed, I just spent hours and hours trying different graphical things out, and after about 6 months, got more into the coding side of things (I'm not 'a natural' at either aspect, I just work bloody hard at it)

Yea, i've been working on it, at least the actionscripting is becoming a breeze now, the only thing I have to get now is the actual animations itself.
I wasnt planning on starting anything 'major' yet, because Im buying a new computer, which there is some 'Midnight Madness' at staples next week...
$1400 (Canadian) for a new computer, 3.2GHz processor, 200GB Hard-drive, 512 MB Ram (Ill add my old ram into this as well :)), 128 MB ATI-Radeon Video card. new monitor, speakers, etc... my current computer will be given to my sister as a Christmas gift, because despite how crappy I think my computer is, it remains a better one then hers :\.

When I get the new computer though, I will hopefully start getting some decent stuff going, though at the same time, my buddy and I are also planning on buying a domain name and some web hosting and creating our own site...
Still have no idea what it's going to be called, but we have some ideas as to where to go with what... obviously we dont have the knowledge to create anything like a 'Portal', but we are sort of thinking long term with this :D.
