You're not alone. If somebody owns a high level account they've obviously been around for a while, so it would make sense to assume they're slightly older than the average around here. Of course, it all depends on the age they started the account (or even if they managed to steal it from a retired reg).

It is true. There was quite a bit of controversy, probably about 50 odd pages back now in this topic. There was controversy flying about all over the forums actually. I got hit in the eye by a bit of stray controversy and had to go to A+E for a check up.
