I rarely see the presence of a few Mods (jonas, saturday, freakopotamus, newgrundling, ted_easton, gfoxcook, etc...) and I don't see why some of these should still be Mods. I don't know if anyones "Mod" status has ever been taken away, so I don't know if it would ever happen.

Yeah, I don't either. But, then again, if several people agree with the opinion, then who is to argue. i now have a system of somewhat of reviewing. it goes a little something like this...
1st of all, rack up some B/P's. they start do decrease in numbers at around 2:30ish AM NG time. at that time (or most times a bit later due to laziness), i go to the other end of the portal (around no30-40) where i last viewed a submission yesterday. then, i go up the portal, reviewing everything that is below 1MG. yes, i have cable, but i also have a shit PC, so my transfer rate is like 20-30kb/s XD haha.
after THAT is done - which usually results in about 20 reviews - if i have some more time on my hands, i will go and review some of one authors submissions. a few days back, i was reviewing 'FireHound's movies... they were really coo'. a reason for rev'ing them: he responds :P.
but at the moment, -since ive reviewed all of FireHound's movies- im starting on TheComet's stuff. i think i've done about 20 of his so far... but i didnt review any today, due to having no more time. so today was a rather moderate day for me in terms of reviewing, considering im on holidays... i did 26 rev's.
meh, my goal since 1st of August was to do 20 reviews each day, and i reached exactly that (not one less, not one more) for the month of August... and, by the 15th of September, i was like 60 reviews behind that 20-per-day mark...
but now that its the holidays, i find myself being 25 reviews infront of that mark... so happy times, and happy dance. *does the happy dance*.
well, that was a complete waste of time on my part, what with typing out my daily routine in terms of reviews... but meh, it'll give y'all something to read :)

Haven't been around that much - my computing use is severely stymied by my crap mouse and the new mouse I bought to replace it not working, and my computer being slow in general (my internet connection is very fast, but is being bottlenecked by my K6-500/128MB RAM computer). I'm sorry, but QuikFox is a bit of an asshole. He's FAR too quick to jump on people and flame them rather than trying to be constructive. He can be OK sometimes, but there are many people I'd rather see as mod before he was made a mod... (now I suppose he's going to get mod and read this and hate me, but oh well, I was never going to be a mod anyway :( )

I agree i dont think making quickfox a mod would be a good desicion he does enjoy to flame newbies without giving anyone a chance.

The BBS doesn't need more moderators, it needs active moderators. Some mods browse this forum only once per month. Do they STILL deserve to be mods? Maybe mods have another purpose than just cleaning up the BBS, that might explain why inactive people that will stay inactive keep their powers.

Main reason I checked was part of two things:
1. Earfetish messaged me on AIM and I informed me he started posting again, so I decided to check it out.
