Unfortunately, that's all too true. On a red run, you can compensate for one, but not two, bad days. It still puts me well into gold and 500 in 4 days ain't bad. I'll probably slow up the remainder of the week and prep for next ~shrug~

Yess, but what I was whining about was the fact that it's been impossible for me to maintain a red pace even when I've put my mind to it. There were only 166 entries yesterday and whopping ~130 today. Even on Clock Day we didn't break 300 and I'd need that to occur, and get most of the points off of it, to get back on track. Oh, well, I still put another dent in your lead on all three lists. Saves is well out of my reach for a long time to come ...

It was a total mess. Pussy topics everywhere. Everything had "Newgroundsisfun" or "Darklilangell23" as the last post. At least they got back to fix those pop-up problems everyone seemed to be having.

Yeah, I saw DLA post two emails from 'Dobio' in his topic. Put in the same situation, I'd like to think I'd be able to see through the fake emails but I know I'd definitely be upset. Anybody computer-savvy can fake an @NG.com address, Bedn did it to see if his Yahoo inbox would reject the email based on the address. I've recieved an email appearing to be from tom@newgrounds.com, but because it was telling me I was going to be a mod and other people were also receiving it, it was obviously fake. There's nothing the admins can do to prevent scammers like that.

Yeah, that's the flaw with the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). It's too easy to "spoof" the headers. You can make your email seem like it's coming from any address you want, with any timestamp you want. It's horrible, I tell ya. Makes it impossible to find out who's spamming you.
