It's adamantium. A steel composite. Supposedly unbreakable. I remeber one issue where Wolvie got into a fight with a very dangerous samurai. The samurai swung his katana (sword) in a sideways arc, cutting halfway through Wolverine's body. The only thing from stopping the sword from cutting him clean in half was his adamantium skeleton (his steel spine). The samurai left him for dead and it took Wolvie about a month (comic time) to fully recover. You gotta love that healing factor!!

Recon - yea about Wolverine it is dangerous when you are dealing with Magneto and his powers. i have a issue that Magneto rip the Adamantium metal right out of his skin through his pores almost killing him, if it wasnt for his healing ability he would have died. you should see what he looked like without his claws, funny cause he had to battle some of his enemies without them, eg. Sabre *do you know him Recon?* and he broke a set in battle too.....

Ooooo!! I have to pick up that issue. Most of my comic knowledge is old school (20 years back). I think I'm going to drop a little coin on some comics and catch up on my favorite heroes.
Yea Recon theres alot that has happened in that short period of time, Hulk combined, the gray and the green to become one Hulk Strong and powerful and faster too, daredevil took down kingpin, spidey had a twin which was a clone and then it caused to create the Scarlet Spider theres soo much more, any information you might want to know i will try to let you know, its been a while since i was into the comics but somethings i just remember and read..........
XK did you ever read/see the spider man episode/comic where spidy emt with all the other spidys from a parel universe it has one parker combined with carnage (my favourite villain) to make the ultimate vilain....

Nah the spidys work together to beat him but one of the spidy does nothing hes an actor......LOL
yea that was serious yo - one of the best was when he fought Doctor Doom what was serious? did anyone see the issue w/ the new fantastic four??? it included spiderman, wolverine, the 'grey' hulk and ghost rider *he's the man too* that was a great saga too......

Oh yeah. He's another one of my favorites. He had a drinking problem that stemmed from his insecurity. I like when he was fighting an intelligent & powerful troll in one issue. Captain Britain is a very fair fighter and the troll fought dirty with every swing. Finally Captain Britain had enough and began his lesson. "We shall have none of this" side steps to right to avoid swing & puches troll in the kidneys, "...and none of this" spins back to the left & elbows troll in the nose (big guy but remember he's doubled over from the shot to the kidneys), "and surely none of this" a swift kick to the nuts. Game set & match. You get the idea.
