This topic is described as a 'Lounge' and it's pretty much that. Anyone can come in here to chat or post and announce level ups and ranks ups, the latter being its original purpose. There are people that post in here who are part of a club called 'Where is/How to?' myself included (stated in my sig), but there are many posters who aren't. Basically, anyone is free to post here without restrictions as long as it isn't spam :D

Mr_Pop_Alot was a random name I made up off the fly when I was signing up my account. I used to always do this with user names years ago, just typing whatever my fingers typed. Well I finally started not liking Mr_Pop_Alot because it just wasn't me. I never popped anything alot or whatever my name was implying, so I just shortened it to MPA, which I've grown to like quite a bit.

There isn't a set time frame, nor is there actually a requirement that someone must be admitted from the nominees, but it typically occurs every 1-6 months.

One of the old "by-laws" was a maximum members limit that's kind of been ignored. It wasn't really an attempt at exclusivity, more the way to look at the moderator situation ... do we actually need more people. I think it just happens whenever enough nominees names pile up to warrant a vote.

Agreed, that would be a most degrading thing to do, to the nominee and the nominator not just MPA, because im assuming thats an example :P Im assuming reasons for people not being nominated is quite varied ? This is to any Wi/Ht members.

Of course it is Slightly_Crazy_Dude. Some people vote for who they like, some vote for the most deserving and still others will abstain from voting due to their prolonged absence from Newgrounds (not familiar with the current nominees). On rare occasions we've had two nominees voted in at the same time. I think that actually happened twice but I can't be sure. I'd bet my bottom dollar gfox knows. Most of the time (when I've tallied the votes) the club's choice has been unanimous.
