That is an XP mark I am gonna hit in 11 days. So finally i am getting closer to my year deposit. Which should be Sept 15 I think.

I think you meant 21 days. Three weeks isn't so bad at all. Plus, you'll probably hit the top 1,000 exp a little before so you have two things to look forward too.

Hitting 15,000 b/p a few minutes ago took me halfway to supreme commander. I'm not sure if this is rewarding or discouraging. 1/2 way there but still need another 15,000. I guess I just need to think of it as the glass is half full........or something

wow! What a day for me, today is my birthday and i didnt get to vote much at all , but hey! Anways i ranked up just now and iam very proud and its also alot of fun. I just stopped down to the baseball card store and bought 30 bucks in packs! *Looks at them wide eyed, ready to open.*. I hope to keep blaming and protecting, didnt get much at all today, but hey im 17 today so ^_^, so i was out for once.

He's still kicking around Pure_LionHeart, just not on Newgrounds as of late. I keep in touch with him through e-mail and one of these days I hope he decides to make a comeback. I'll give him a little reminder the next time I write. If spancker returned I bet it would give _lightning_ a reason to start posting more. Those two always seemed to be on-line at the same time (I think their time zones are only an hour or two apart).

Yes and no. What's happening is that the score is the same, no matter what you vote, until it gets the 26th vote. The 26th vote will change its score, depending upon what that vote is, and then it compares against the 1.60 requirement. RawJoe and a couple of others seem to know what they are doing, in so far as coding and the like. I think the primary issue is that even Joe goes apeshit on people who come in and harangue flipsided for copying NG blahblahblah. I'm down the middle on it, and certainly have been expressing myself on the issue much better than the folks there or here.

There was some code theft involved, as well as the adoption entire of a number of conceptual aspects of NG. Jesse claims that he's changed the coding, and likely will be adjusting those other aspects as well, but those are simple facts that just need to be accepted. People at flip aren't, and people coming in from NG aren't making their case very well.

OTOH, he has every right to put together a site like that. It has a number of features not available here, as well as a number of other submissions areas that are not available here. Once I start watermarking some of the pictures I've taken I may drop some in there. I've had some of my work blown up and framed, so I can't see it getting an overly poor reception, but there's no place here to do so. I don't particularly feel like getting involved in another site, like those on-line galleries, at least until I buy a domain name. This would give me someplace to show them off in the interim.

Well, they don't have level icons, at least not yet, even though they are using the same system as here. I think "Flipsided Points" might have ultimately supposed to have been some combination of experience, keeps, curbs, and maybe submissions of flash, videos, and pictures. At present it's just XP, but that may be where they start throwing out icons. After 500 FPs, you get icon 1, 1,000 earns icon 2, etc. Since people are already getting 5 XP per submission, it may not be wise to include it, but overall that kind of system makes sense ... maybe even involve reviews or that most despicable thing post count *shudder* Essentially giving people points for involvement there, in whatever aspect they happen to focus, might be what he was planning.

And yeah, the FlipSided Vs. NewGrounds areguement is getting quite out of hand, in my opinion. FS did kinda steal some stuff and the FS-Bot is, I gotta admit, pretty blatent, but it does seems the code was...tweaked. From what I hear, he's changing it around.

By the way, was FS down for you today? It was for me recently. Haven't checked back recently though...

Steady pacing will get you there faster than you know it. Just keep your goals smal so you don't burn out. Looking at the mountain to climb to get to SC from under 1k looks insurmountable, but next thing you know you'll be where I am with it as a very reasonable goal.

1k right now is ~1300. I'll know for sure when I run the list. If it's 1300, at 50/day, you'll make it in a week, maybe less.

Like I just told SCD, set smaller goals. Your next rank-up is 15,500. I'm betting 500 looks a little easier to get than 15k lol After that, pick someone between you and the 17,500 rank-up to try and chase down, etc. You'll get there =)

Awesome Wayne, all my blitzball players are between 73rd to 76th level. Nimrook in net, Vuroja at midfield, Ropp and Kulukan on defense with Larbeight and Tidus as my forwards. If I win two more games I can teach Tidus the Invisible Shot. I played a game before coming to work and I slaughtered the other team 9 - 0 (Tidus got 7 goals). For a prize Tech Find is rare so when it shows up I instantly jump on it. If you want my opinion I think these are the best five techs you could equip to any player.

1.) Brawler
2.) Tackle Slip 2
3.) Nap Pass 3 or Nap Shot 3 (depending on the player)
4.) Wither Tackle 3
5.) Pile Wither

With the above techs the other team will have a very hard time getting close enough for a decent shot on net.
