He's still kicking around Pure_LionHeart, just not on Newgrounds as of late. I keep in touch with him through e-mail and one of these days I hope he decides to make a comeback. I'll give him a little reminder the next time I write. If spancker returned I bet it would give _lightning_ a reason to start posting more. Those two always seemed to be on-line at the same time (I think their time zones are only an hour or two apart).

Yes and no. What's happening is that the score is the same, no matter what you vote, until it gets the 26th vote. The 26th vote will change its score, depending upon what that vote is, and then it compares against the 1.60 requirement. RawJoe and a couple of others seem to know what they are doing, in so far as coding and the like. I think the primary issue is that even Joe goes apeshit on people who come in and harangue flipsided for copying NG blahblahblah. I'm down the middle on it, and certainly have been expressing myself on the issue much better than the folks there or here.

There was some code theft involved, as well as the adoption entire of a number of conceptual aspects of NG. Jesse claims that he's changed the coding, and likely will be adjusting those other aspects as well, but those are simple facts that just need to be accepted. People at flip aren't, and people coming in from NG aren't making their case very well.

OTOH, he has every right to put together a site like that. It has a number of features not available here, as well as a number of other submissions areas that are not available here. Once I start watermarking some of the pictures I've taken I may drop some in there. I've had some of my work blown up and framed, so I can't see it getting an overly poor reception, but there's no place here to do so. I don't particularly feel like getting involved in another site, like those on-line galleries, at least until I buy a domain name. This would give me someplace to show them off in the interim.

Well, they don't have level icons, at least not yet, even though they are using the same system as here. I think "Flipsided Points" might have ultimately supposed to have been some combination of experience, keeps, curbs, and maybe submissions of flash, videos, and pictures. At present it's just XP, but that may be where they start throwing out icons. After 500 FPs, you get icon 1, 1,000 earns icon 2, etc. Since people are already getting 5 XP per submission, it may not be wise to include it, but overall that kind of system makes sense ... maybe even involve reviews or that most despicable thing post count *shudder* Essentially giving people points for involvement there, in whatever aspect they happen to focus, might be what he was planning.

And yeah, the FlipSided Vs. NewGrounds areguement is getting quite out of hand, in my opinion. FS did kinda steal some stuff and the FS-Bot is, I gotta admit, pretty blatent, but it does seems the code was...tweaked. From what I hear, he's changing it around.

By the way, was FS down for you today? It was for me recently. Haven't checked back recently though...

Awesome Wayne, all my blitzball players are between 73rd to 76th level. Nimrook in net, Vuroja at midfield, Ropp and Kulukan on defense with Larbeight and Tidus as my forwards. If I win two more games I can teach Tidus the Invisible Shot. I played a game before coming to work and I slaughtered the other team 9 - 0 (Tidus got 7 goals). For a prize Tech Find is rare so when it shows up I instantly jump on it. If you want my opinion I think these are the best five techs you could equip to any player.

1.) Brawler
2.) Tackle Slip 2
3.) Nap Pass 3 or Nap Shot 3 (depending on the player)
4.) Wither Tackle 3
5.) Pile Wither

With the above techs the other team will have a very hard time getting close enough for a decent shot on net.

I'm still working on the story Wayne but blitzing has been taking up a lot of my game time. On the subject of catching monsters, there's one unknown monster from the Thunder Plains that seems to have escaped my attention (I haven't found a single one yet). Aerouge, Buer, Melusine, Kusariqqu, Qactuar, Gold Element, Larva, and Iron Giant.

Ok those are the monster in the thunder plains. As far as what you are missing it's probably the Qactuar. They will only appear after you prey at one of the glowing stones. Since I don't know where you are in the story line and which side quests you have done I can't say for sure. Plus I don't want to spoil anything for you. Also the Iron Giants can only be found north of the travel agency in the Thunder Plains but they are pretty common.

This one gives a lot of people problems and leads to a lot of broken controllers. I found it to be easy though after a few runs and getting the hang of the controls and the response of the chocobo. When the race starts Make sure you get in front of the Trainer regardless of where the first balloon is. If it is on the outside skip it and get the next one. Just get in front of the trainer so you can cut the first turn tight on the inside.

Then just watch the birds. I found staying towards the left side worked better for me in the big open area. Don't go too far out of your way to get balloons. Then down the final stretch just don't get hit...hopefully you grabbed enough balloons to not have to worry about them and just bolt to the finish.

Bingo Wayne. I've caught 10 of every monster you mentioned except the Iron Giants. That blows my mind that I've never seen a single giant all this time. Oh God, please don't remind me of that. It took me hours and hours to complete that task. You have to get most of the balloons and not be hit by any birds. You also have to go very fast. The butterfly game takes lots of patience. I really don't know any good strategies for it.

I joined Flipside a couple of days ago. I got bored with it already. It's not really exciting. It's practically the same thing as Newgrounds, except with less flash. I don't like the method of getting experience points. For every vote, you get 1 experience. You have to vote on ten flashes.
