More like 6 weeks or so.

fixit was at 49,400 on 4/22. He reached 49,500 on 4/23.

For many days, he got no points.

On 5/5 he got one point (as I mentioned in a post further up the page), most likely due a delay in the system whether due to a whistled entry or just a point that didn't clear on time for him.

Since 5/5, when he thus hit 49,501, fixit hasn't moved at all. That's over a month now since his last point, and WELL over a month since he stopped, pretty much.

Now, 38,000 I'm aiming for by my birthday (30th), because I don't want to be in the 37000s come that day. But at a rate of 1000 every 2 weeks right now, clearly 49,501 is going to take some time... About half a year, methinks. And that's if I don't slow down, which I will, from time to time. Might speed up from time to time as well, though.

Anyway, getting to 25,500 is solid enough for you. If you do that, that 7% is going to smash the VP boundary wide open and leave a gaping hole between your mark and ramagi's.

But as you can see from the top 50 list, not many people have much motivation to keep moving forward once they hit EGSC. At least, not very quickly. There's no carrot dangling in front of the horses anymore, basically.

Give us a few extra ranks and THEN see what happens. fixit would be passed much sooner, I can assure you of that.

Mainly I just check them out to see if they break the rules so I can flag them but I don't really try for blam/protection points anymore.

I never like to see people get away with stealing someone else's flash. And many times, there aren't enough people to realize that something is stolen to take care of it. Whenever I find something is stolen, I give the link to the submission, and a link to the original place it is to a bunch of people so it can get flagged. If the movie is good (No use in stealing a crappy movie) voting 0 on it won't be very effective if it isn't flagged since other people will be voting based on the flash itself. I keep pestering people to blow the whistle on it until it's flagged. Whenever I do that, it feels a lot better than getting hundreds of blam/protect points.

When I watch a flash, I sometimes get a feeling that it's stolen, then go looking for it (If I don't know where it is already from previous occasions) and find where it originated from. There aren't many people that wouldn get the same feeling as me and realize that it's stolen, so I do all that I can to make sure it's flagged.

Well I want to catch up to Newt again. But I really want to break 30000 b/p by the end of the year but that really depends on how much I stay on. Don't know how long atleast I want to get to 25,000 b/p by the end of this year. Great Christmas Present.

You have (at the start of your current rank) 2,000 points to get to Colonel, then it's the general ranks.

I reached 5.50 base VP today. Considering I had 5 base VP at the beginning of the year, it just shows much depositing exp alone does to your VP, not much for over 5 months. That's under 0.1 a month, quite a difference to the 0.1 per day you get in levels 1-8. Oh well, at least the b/s percentage increases makes it bearable.

Yeah, but if you think about it, it's staying fairly close to 0.5 voting power per level that we got for levels 1-8. But I understand what you mean about each deposit getting less and less important. As long as I get about 0.5 voting power per level, I'll be happy. I know that we are getting less than that in the higher levels, but it's close.

One quick off-topic point... I would love to see someone like Crimson_Edge get a very high blam/save ranking but never deposit. How funny would it be to see a Level 1 Elite Guard Brigadier General? I mean, it wouldn't be too hard even if it were just a few a day... it would take forever, but might be worth it if you're wanting to stay level 1 anyway. Does anyone know of anyone like this? Or why doesn't Crimson_Edge do it? I would ask him myself, but I don't know him at all. He wouldn't have to lose his Level 1 standing-- he already has a few blams and saves.

I would do it myself, but I want to save the blams and saves for my yadjmir account. I don't really want to start a new account after all this time accumulating blams and saves and experience. I would love to see it happen, though... just think, a Level 1 Elite Guard Supreme Commander... One can dream, right?
