It's weird that not only do many people jump from normal to sliver without getting bronze, but also that you don't have to do much to keep it sliver.

When the whistle system was first introduced I had the bronze for less than a day, the silver for maybe a week, and the gold for about 1 hour (I was lucky enough to catch it in my profile).

I've noticed that. I haven't flagged many abusive reviews for quite some time now and I still have the silver. Even if I were to drop to bronze I doubt it would take much work to bump it back up.
