i'm not what you would call a regular. i post some days, others i don't and when i do post its usually a couple posts. not very many. i do however check the forums from time to time just to see whats going on.

I would have had it already but I had a hockey game last night and missed two hours of prime time. We won 6-3 and I had 4 goals so it was worth it. But I'm gonna miss another two hours of prime time tonight with hockey. ugh...

Yeah well, there's two reasons that I don't do that. The first being that I'm really just too lazy to bother learning HTML and the other being that I seem to have a fetish for authenticity. Right click on this page and choose View Source.
If it is a short code file, it willl show up in Notepad. Larger files come up in Wordpad so you can skip to the next paraqgraph if it does.
Choose Edit --> Select All
Ctrl+C
Close the text file.
Open up Wordpad or Word
Ctrl+V

Find the part of the document you are looking to tweak by reading the original. For profiles, it's typically the B/S count.
Ctrl+F
Enter a word of phrase unlikely to be found in the rest of the document. In the case of this page something like fifty "documents" will do to get you to your post on this page, while crappy would do for profiles.
Now that you are in the area of what you want to tweak, you are looking for two things, the image file codes and the actual numbers you want to change.
Change the numbers to whatever you wanted them to be.

For the images, you're looking for anything that say things like [img src="/Gold/profiles/level_icons/power13c.gif". Once you have found that you need to do one of two things.

Either: copy the images from the original page to your hard drive someplace and change the code to read [img src="C:\\My Documents\NGicons\power13c.gif"] or wherever it is you have it stashed.

or: insert http://www.newgrounds.com between the first quote mark and the slash.

Save As XXX.html

In the former case, find the file on your hard drive and double click it. Voila!!

In the latter, upload to a server and then bring the page up. Voila!!

Brackets actually being the arrows was probably self-explanatory, but that should have read C:\My Documents\
it had 2 backslashes the first time I wrote it.
