Yeah, I think he did too. I checked my deposit message from last night (at like... 12:00:01 or something) and saw it said I needed 184 until level 19. When I deposited tonight it said I needed 174, so he must've not deposited.

I've seen HT not make a deposit until right at the end of the day, and as a result, the exp to the next level in my profile (And everyone else's of course) didn't change all day... and in fact, he deposited 2 hours after his "just in time" deposit, and around the time of the profile rank update time... the exp to the next level jumped TWO day's worth all at once.

So if you're basing all of this on just your deposit message, that's misleading. Depending on when he deposits, I've seen it take over 10 hours for the exp to the next level to update after he deposits. I think it has something to do with how liljim scaled back the top 50 list update times from 3 times a day to just once, and so forth.

Now... on the other hand, if you checked HT's profile a half minute before midnight ET, and he was still at 15586... then I'd believe that he missed the deposit. However, I checked his profile 10 minutes after midnight (meant to do check it like I said up there, but forgot until it was too late), and he was already at 15596, which was where he should have been all day yesterday. I checked the 50 most recent deposits list, but it was all fucked (only had 15 people on it), so who knows.

So... it remains to be seen if he deposited today or yesterday. If today, then yes, we can rejoice for he has missed a day. If it was in the nick of time yesterday, then he'll deposit at some point today, as he often does... the damned tease.

I, for one, will be refreshing his profile several times near midnight. It's the only way to be sure when he doesn't deposit within the first few hours of the GG day like the bastard should be doing if he's gonna deposit at all. hmph.

10-13 in BPs is going to shake out rather oddly in the next couple of weeks. If we all keep the same paces we have been, chaotic will pass Xkwizit by Tuesday, and alex will pass them both by Saturday, putting me in position to pass all of them the following week. I'm at about the end of my limit though, so any or all of them could pick up their pace and throw this into a chase that takes us to Recon lol

The highest deficit i can remember between HT and Pimp was around 80 points. So HT has missed quite a few deposits.

I've missed loads of deposits lately - it's no real biggy. Sometimes i haven't been able to get on the pc or have been away somewhere.

I have missed 3 months of depositing... The last deposit I missed was last december, when Ng had a problem with the portal and it wouldn't let me vote on anything... I also remeber HT missing a deposit that day

I have missed about 9 to 10 months worth of deposits from the time I made my account (June 2001) to the time I started depositing (sometime in 2002) Since then I don't believe I have ever missed a deposit.

I missed one when my account was hacked, and I nearly missed a couple when I was down in Coventry over Christmas. However, I don't think I'll be away from a computer long enough to miss a deposit until at least the end of June, and even then I should be able to get them in somehow. I think the danger could be if I get to Sheffield in the autumn and their network is majorly borked, leaving me without internet access for a while. But by then I'll be close enough to level 16 that I won't care :-)

I missed a couple of months worth from little misses now and then... they all catch up with you.

Thanks for checking his exp right before the NG day ended, because if you guys weren't sure about that time of deposit (I must have checked the recent deposits list after his name was wiped off it by those damned errors that cause the list to reset and only have a few people on it, BTW... god, I hate that) I woulda indeed had to check very intently tonight before midnight to see if he missed today or yesterday or neither. Now we know for sure... 4/2 - no deposit. 4/3 - deposit. 4/4 - who knows, but I assume he won't screw up again so soon.

Yeah, I remember that. Back then, it seems like they both moved apart and towards each other a lot more often. Probably due to referral points more than depositing misses, though.

I'm about to be level 16, but I've missed 970+ deposits. Over 2 and a half years worth. ;_;

so... knowing how many you have missed isn't all it's cracked up to be. All it does is depress me, though it does ensure I never miss that many more again.

I checked out the topic you linked to... While it certainly does seem like he missed that day, as the post says "I thought we were 30 apart from Pimp," there's no way he did miss. Because all fall long, from September to December when that post was made, Pimp was 30 exp behind HT... and all winter long, from December to March, and indeed, up till yesterday... Pimp was STILL 30 exp behind HT.

I think this just goes to show that even some of the people who deposit for HT get confused about whether Pimp is still 30 behind or has moved up to 20 exp behind. That time, they were wrong. This time... he indeed has moved up.

The reason I can state all of this with certainty is that the referral system hasn't been working since before popularity was disabled in September.

Back right before it happened, HT actually missed a deposit... but he got referral exp, so it ended up keeping the 30 exp gap going from August into September.

So in short, I think in the past year, HT has missed only 2 deposits... one in September, one in April. That's... 364 deposits out of 366 days... not bad, not bad. However, I hit all 366 out of 366, so that's ONE thing I've got on HT. #;-}>

Anywho... this brings me back up to 5,555 posts, which is where I was on Thursday when I thought I was done posting for a few days.
