How does this topic work?

Started off as a topic announcing level ups and rank up, but has changed vastly since then. It's now more of a topic where the where is/how to club and other users hang out. The club basically just help out and answer questions people post here.

Yeah, experience is much harder to gain ranks in since it's based on the same amount a day. With B/P's it's up to you to get as many as you can. If you don't pass someone it's probably because you just aren't getting enough. (If a few of the people ahead of me continue to not deposit, I may have spot 99 in a week or two though.)

Also Recon, just keep at it and in enough time you will make it to the top 100 for exp.
My goal for exp is just to make it to the top 999 for exp but that will be in a few months once I get the Bat.

My thoughts on Brass - Before I got to this level, I didn't think I would like it, but I really do, lvl ups are always good, well as long as you don't have to look at the lvl 23 icon.

Dark Auras? - I heard that most of the people who post in the general forum have dark auras and most in the Wi/Ht have light, Dark matches the way I am better so that's my aura!

It did take me a while, though the jump from 9 to 10 seemed like the longest :/

Can't wait to see every ones new lvls with in the next few days!

Voting period can be as long as you like, if 72's what you want to set it to in advance of the next time, then better to decide on that now so there's no confusion next time, and so the nominees/voters don't get too impatient or anything. Anywho, did you hear me say that you should run the next round anyway, so it won't coincide with your 2-day-a-week computerless periods? It'd be safer that way. Or, I suppose we could make a new custom of always beginning votes on Wednesdays and ending them on Saturdays, for a nice 72 hour period that is completely within your workweek.

If you meant just EGP, EGPFC, EGCorp, EGS, EGSS, EGSFC, EGMS, and EGSM, you might have a point about rank badges that look too similar. All are the silver and blue scheme, most have either the chevron motif going on or fairly simple star/eagle/whathaveyou.

But once you hit Praporshchik, not only do you get the gold badge back you briefly had at Police Captain, but you move on and up into bars, double bars, clusters, fullbird eagle... and finally the wonderous General stars and green laurel wreaths. Yeah, SS is similar to Praporshchik in terms of the central image, but it doesn't have Prap's new goldenness, so it's nowhere close.

I, too, liked the 3 chevrons from the regular Sergeant rank. And while SM is a good badge, Sergeant was my favourite rank of all the blue/silver EG ranks. hell, still is.

No, the only thing we'll nail people for is COMPLAINING about their bans or about the mods. That's one of the rules. If he'd just come into the topic saying "eh, I got banned for 3 days for posting in a spam topic, but now I'm back! Woot!" etc. everything is fine. Between all the people talking about it and hinting and whispering, though, it turned into like 10 posts about his ban. Which is a little silly, and wasting space in our beloved level up!, but there's nothing bannable about it.

But isn't it a bit of an anti-reward for the level icon's weapon to get more and more degraded/damaged/used up as the level goes on? That's kinda a shitty way to get rewarded for gaining exp and rising in the ranks as you move up towards the next level.

I'd be more for just a slight glow that develops around the edge of the weapon, and grows really bright once you're on the edge of the next level. Something like that, or even the blood idea, would be better than the weapon becoming more and more damaged....

now, if the weapon started OUT damaged, and got better and better as you rise in the level, that'd be another thing.

I got that as well, guys. If you viewed the source html file of the page, you could see the normal text about your voting power, your vote, the score of the movie, and whether you would get a blam or protect. It was all there, just not being displayed.
