I just got the police captain level last night. I'm so proud of my self.

Back after a weird night drinking back at uni... good fun but very random. Not a good week, dropped down to #90 in blam/protect, but I've got Monday off work so I can get the review list done and still have time to get some blams and protects. Only about 200 points away from level 14 now, not long left with the bat. And I changed my profile picture to Nigel Mansell for no apparent reason. Soon be at 10K posts in this topic, the NGA thread passed that the other day, will be a momentous week for posting things and that. If these sorts of things are really important enough to be called "momentous", that is :-)

Nobody was bumped off the top 50 blam/save list since the last rollover although merc_insanity knocked HeRetiK out of the 49th spot. Pretty soon you'll need to be a First Lieutenant to make the grade (about 1,300 points from now).

bah!!! There's nothing wrong with 12. I know you guys don't like it because of the actual weapon depicted, but I don't choose faves that way. I think 10 and 12, especially with a blue or green background, just LOOK good. The red glove is nicely shaped and coloured.

And I'm with Joe on the damage factor. You wouldn't JUST get damage from the wire, getting beaten up with boxing gloves alone for a long enough time and by a strong enough person can rip your face up. Imagine the added effect of the barbed wire. Especially if it were to say... snag your eyeball?

Yeah I voted on some movies and then left for my grandmothers, I thought I would have made it through but I guess I must have been off when I votted on some movies.

Oh, I don't know about that. I'd love to see Lost In Translation win Best Picture but it's not going to happen, so my guess for Best Picture this year goes to Master and Commander: The Far Side Of The World. As for Best Director, Sofia Coppola is my prediction for this year. But hey, I don't know yet. We'll see when they announce the winners.

In other news, I'm just kind of happy today because I finally made it up to 15,000 blam/protect points. Oderus_Urungus is still fully kicking my ass but I couldn't care less right now. Besides, weekends are short. I'm not going to waste this one sitting around at home racking up more points in front of my computer. Instead, I spent today out with Painbringer watching The Passion Of The Christ and Twisted at the local theatre. I should really take a picture of that place and show you guys sometime. But yeah, 15,000 blam/protect points now. That's halfway to the Elite Guard Supreme Commander rank. Only one more year to go before I'm at a nice 60% boost to my Voting Power. Hopefully, anyways. Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little wishful thinking every once in a while!

I've been to that "Land of Make Believe", it's a theme park in North Jersey (Hope, NJ to be precise) . That picture brought back an old memory.

That's just for the review mods so they can spot reviews with '0/10 (or more) found this helpful' quickly. It's nice that there are so many whistle points that we can get, but the whistles themselves do nothing but look good in a profile. I wish they increased voting power (or for the garbage whistlers, lowered it) so I could have a higher voting power and get ahead of more people.

What I find interesting is that at least one bookmaker has stopped talking bets on LOTR to win the best picture Oscar... now I'm not entirely certain that's down to the film being a bang on cert to win. Favourite, maybe, but not at such short odds as are listed. Chances are more likely that they've simply taken so many bets (and, let's be brutally honest, the LOTR series has a LOT of fans) they want to limit their potential losses. And as we all know, the Academy members who vote aren't a great judge of public opinion. We'll just have to wait and see.

You should do what a lot of people do SuperDragon (like myself) which is log on to Newgrounds long enough to deposit your experience, pick up a couple of points and leave. I stick around only if there's something interesting going on.
