I have two questions.

1.) Do the review mods still flag abusive reviews for crap submissions like Sir Piss Alot Ep.2?

2.) I asked this one earlier but didn't get a response. If a review is written all in caps but is helpful to the author is it still considered abusive?

I always flag reviews as abusive... But I hardly ever ban for it. Mostly because up until that review, the users usually write decent reviews. But when a movie as crappy as that comes along, you kind of expect that to happen. I'd still mark it abusive though.

I'd say it is and would mark it as abusive. Even if it is a good review and is helpful. The fact that it is in all caps ruins that. Wouldn't ban for that though. If all of their other reviews are in all caps as well, THEN I'd ban, but not for one.

Seeing as I noticed there are a good amount of times when there isn't a mod on, I thought it would be a good idea to get a new Mod.
And from posting in here a lot and seeing how everyone is, I would like to nominate Recon_Rebel to be the next BBS Mod!

Maybe you should make a topic about it, it would take a lot of votes to decide. As far as I know, only mods could choose a mod, but I haven't been here that long, so I could be wrong.

Don’t be so modest, even if there are others out there you feel are better at it then you, you are the one I am nominating. Look at it this way, if you feel there are others who should be made a mod before you, if you are made a mod you can recommend them!
You’ve been here a very long time and I don’t think your going to just stop all of a sudden, you are always helpful and to me I think that makes you mod material.
Though if you would feel uncomfortable that you are made a mod I won’t take it any further, if not then I’ll make a topic in WI/HT for the people to vote.

Reduce the size of the bitmap. There should be a handle on the right side of the bitmap which you can drag to remove the white area.

Congrats Vacant_Soul, keep the experience deposits up because they become more and more important with each level you gain. I'm doing my best not to miss any more deposits due to the backslide increase. If I can make it to level 25 I'll be happy. I think someone told me that could happen by the year 2011. Slightly insane if you ask me.

Yeah, getting two hundred blam/protects isn't as easy as it sounds. Take it from the guy who took just about every opportunity to gain blam/protect points over the past two days. I signed in just about every hour on Saturday to clear out all the Under Judgement submissions and I did that every chance I could. I only missed the one hour mark three times. Once because I was out eating lunch, once because I was out watching 50 First Dates and once because I was out eating dinner. All that, and I still only got about a hundred of them. They're pretty damn hard to gain, those pesky little buggers. Hell, I did that today too. Just to a much lesser extent. I was out for most of the day trying to find something presentable to wear to some formal dinner that I got invited to by the mayor of my city. It's a pretty fancy dinner party and this is kind of in recognition of all the volunteer work that I've done around my community. Me and, like, ten other friends of mine who do the same thing. Yes, I have a life outside NG. I'm just as shocked as you are.

Oh well, at least all that hard "work" paid off. For once, I can actually say that I'm safely ahead of Oderus_Urungus. Naturally, he'll probably pass me tomorrow when I'm off at school, but right now, I'm pretty confident with where I am right now. At this current point in time, I have 14,235 blam/protect points, whereas Oderus_Urungus has only 14,148 points. I think that's a pretty good lead, don't you? Especially when you consider the fact that he was about a hundred points ahead of me just a few days ago. Yeah, the fluctuations with blam/protect points are pretty crazy. Guess that's what makes them so interesting.

You heard wrong, dude. Also, you said "the mods might make him a mod." Only admins make new mods, not mods. Mods, however, can nominate new mods. Regular users cannot.

In all honesty, it's really only semi-formal but I'm kind of going overboard with it anyways. I probably should just go in a suit, but then again, it's the mayor, so I might go with the tux. Actually, we seem to be keeping almost the exact same pace. Probably requires more work from me than it does from him, but hey, I'm willing to put in a little overtime. All I need is a little time before school, a little time after school and a little time in just about every waking hour! Yeah, it's totally crazy, but we seem to be gaining blam/protects at roughly the same rate. Right now, he's still about sixty points behind me. Oh crap, I just realized. I'm going to be busy tomorrow watching The Virgin Suicides with my friends. You know, the other movie that Sofia Coppola wrote and directed? Then again, I'm pretty sure you already knew that.
