I totally agree with you. That is why I try really hard not to state my ultimate goals, just the next closest to achieve. Nothing worse than stating a goal that you may never be able to reach.

One day, I'm hoping to get Level 60, the Supreme Commander rank, and the Divine Whistle... the Newgrounds Triple Crown. It's still quite a ways off, but I'll definitely one day achieve all three. my B/P rank got up to Private recently so that's good.

I will agree that medal hunting can ruin your ability to play NewGrounds games just fun. Every medal game just becomes another responsibility to earn those points as quickly as possible before the next weekly update. Every Saturday night is your next deadline to out earn the competition.
