Hey! I was looking forward this but I never thought this day would come! My voting should be strong to keep me sharp after all this time! While working on my exp gaining, I looked all over for great flash videos and games! Not only that, I found friends on here over the years that I could have only dreamed of! And now after almost 12 long years I've finally made it here! Do you know what that means? I'll tell you! I am the most highest level you can achieve on this site.
I'm now level 60.
I know it's kinda stupid but I'm honestly a little emotional at the moment. I legitimately never thought I'd ever get to 60 after I missed so many deposits over the years. Not to mention the length of time I've been on this site. I've seen so many faces come and go (both good and bad) and it felt like hitting this was just never going to happen. Like I know I almost completely stopped posting in the forums and haven't really done much on here outside of gaining exp and periodically posting here and there but it always felt like sooner or later I'd eventually stop coming here. But here I am. 43 days away from hitting my 12th anniversary, hurtling towards being 30 (my birthday was in March), and having been at my current job for 2 years now. Working during a tumultuous time in not just American but international history. Having Newgrounds around helped me so much over the years. It was a place I could go to relax, talk to friends, post random bullshit, and to have an escape from real life when things got so hard that it felt like the only thing I could do was cry. I owe so much to this site. I wouldn't want it any other way. And I'd do it all over again if I could.

I remember getting kinda... disappointed when I got there myself. Like the grand adventure was over. What then?! I suppose I just immediately started looking towards whatever other achievements loomed ahead as to further the journey; not feel like it wasn't a spectacular moment, like every level up prior was. But it really is the way to the goal that harbors the most emotion; that you really remember IMO. The conclusion's often so fast and fickle.
Anyway this was awesome to read. So appreciative. So worthy. I wish I reminisced as much back when I hit similar status, and I definitely feel similarly about the purpose and place of this wondrously whacky website. I can't imagine not having stumbled in here back in the day now, and what a wondrous journey it's been since, communicating or collabing with all sorts of cool creative folks like you yourself. Definitely worth living through again if only it were possible.
Hope it's not the end of the journey for you either. ;) Top level and onward, through tough and turbulent times anew!
