Gathering EXP is definitely feeling a lot quicker now, and there seems to be more B/P to gain too, I can't catch all of them even if I check the portal first thing before bed/first thing in the morning now. It's been a while since it was all this active.

And now we got a whole month of double EXP! A little sneaky yesterday after it stopped but then started again. In any case, next month will be quite a boost.

We'll just need to ride it out through April and see where it is by the end of it. I'd stay home as advised but my work can't be done at home so here I am still out just for it. It's good and bad that I'm still in work. Good for keeping that income and have much to save without anywhere to go but bad cause I'm more at risk to the virus.

If I end up getting it, hopefully my immunities will fight it off. I've done well with myself with last having a common cold six months ago and never catching a flu.

Yeah, was commuting to work up till last week, but might be working from home for a while now. Fortunate to be in a part of the business that allows work like this, also fortunate just to have a job considering how many business are going under right now... it's pretty crazy how much this is affecting the social order; even with numbers way lower than a regular flu the danger seems pretty real.

How's the city where you are, is there any kind of curfew/quarantine going on? Streets empty? Public transport?

Hope so! You can always keep it boosted too. Less sugar, good nutrients, good sleep, good exercise... it's a bit of a wake-up call for a healthier lifestyle for anyone who's not really there yet. Myself included.

Certain industries are taking a massive hit in all of this. Can only hope they'll be able to bounce back but it could take some time given the economic damage right now. In the short term, I just want all my favourite pubs to stay in business once they can reopen.

Whatever death toll it takes it may be on par with typical illnesses but the fact that it's a new condition on top of everything else and how widespread it's managed to be is what makes it so dangerous.

My area is on lockdown with the rest of the UK but tbh the most that feels different when I've been out to go to work and back is lack of pubs, fast food restaurants and shops open. Otherwise, looks pretty normal back at home.

I get my exercise with a 45 minute walk to work and back each way so that puts only going out for exercise and essential work in one. I'm avoiding public transport at this time but that was my main intention beforehand to save expenses on travel. Only time where I may need to go on them is if the rain pours down too much.

I'll have so much money saved in this period where I can't have any night outs or get tickets for any events.

Yeah the pub business seems like an especially endangered one. All that deal with social contact really. Hopefully the owners have other ways to get by; aren't paying insane rents to keep their places while all this goes on... family-owned/side-hustle places seem like those that might manage best. Which hopefully means all the best places...

No curfew/quarantine at all, though public transport is a lot emptier than it used to be. I've stayed home the last week though. Cases/day have been rising from a steady 100-200 for a long time to now around 500, so there's probably a lot less commuting going on right now.

I imagine the big city's pretty empty too, but in the suburbs where I am it actually seems like more people than usual are out and about. A lot of essential exercise-driven movement probably combined with ever-increasing home work time.

Getting a bit curious of how the inner city is over here right now... do they have any regulations in place to keep people in? A certain time you have to be in?

Nice. Good combo. I usually buy a commuting card for the whole year in an effort to save on money, but that might've really backfired this time... it'd be a 7-8 hour walk to work though so unfortunately not much else to do about that. :) Fortunately a lot can be done via the great interwebz.

Hell yeah it still exists! :D Congrats man. The EXP climb seems like the slowest one of all when you start reaching those higher spots, but slow and steady... most of them have to give up sometime.

I've been hearing over there they haven't enforced such a lockdown like most of Europe right now.

There's been a noticable increase on those going outside to exercise but so many are taking the piss with the country's one exercise a day allowance. Shit like this will make it longer to return to normality.

The police are meant to be querying anyone they see outside but the few times they've passed me they haven't stopped to question me. I'm playing by the rules and have a letter from work to confirm my reasons to be outside home. I'm all good with staying in otherwise as I've got plenty of games to go through and with the combination of Netflix and Disney+, that's plenty to watch at home. Thankfully I can be flexible with myself to be introverted or extroverted when needs be.

I've been wondering if maybe now's a perfect time to be on regular VDSL, maybe not as heavy use as with fiber, I haven't been noticing much difference, though oversea cables should be the same ones anyway...
