For a normal month I average over 100 Blams. A good month, somewhere around 150 Blams. Even when the voting system was having problems recently I managed about 85 Blams for the month. So to answer your question, Yes Blams are easy to attain. If you're a little harsh with your voting like I am, you can easily top the Monthly (mostly) Top 50 Blammers list.

There's also @Wegra (outwardly crazy here, but quite salient IRL), @emily-youcis (long time producer, who would take over the BBS if she could), @gamejunkie (deeply invested into all things NG, and for quite a while!), @linda-mota (professional/student artist, exceptionally well spoken), @MistyEntertainment (long time producer of quality entertainment here), and @jiovanni (a very talented and thoughtful artist and writer here).

Believe me I would if I could, but it can be time constraining for both parties. To set-up for the interview as well as making sure the recording goes right. Plus I am no longer in position of a microphone for my computer (really need to get another one). I am interested in doing Podcasts as a future thing and interviews could be a part of it... then we get into the messy issue of time zones.

The written word is where I am for now, which is my preferred method. Not enough love for the writers of Newgrounds.

It's likely I need a better monitor to keep my old eyes from bugging out, when confronted with a wall of blinding white text. Used to do so much better on a green monochrome CRT, though the amber ones were okay too. At least you compose and format your stuff like a pro, makes it much nicer to digest.

If that gets too time constraining, when you get a decent mic, you could always just record your questions, send them off, and have them send you back a recording of their answers. Then you could edit in something like audacity and post it as a podcast. A couple minutes of editing versus cutting and pasting entire paragraphs, checking for your spelling mistakes, etc. Add the interviewee to contributors, and people can even download your interviews. You could even post them to YouTube with a transcript! With the NG crediting system, it'd never matter if anyone changed usernames, either.

That would be pretty choice -- I know a lot of people that listen to this sort of stuff in the car, and if NG radio goes up, hey, I wouldn't be complaining if an interview came on. :P Last interview I did was with @Asandir. Loved it.

I'm still hoping to get a gold one at some point. But for stats I'm pretty much only focusing on posts and experience. I do get some b/p points periodically. Like I voted on a handful of flashes yesterday but that's it.

I hear that so much but it's just not the case. I get between 100 and 150 Blams every month. Even when the voting process was broken recently I managed to rack up 85 for the month. I know in the old days you could get so many more Blams but in those days there were so many more submissions, so in the grand scheme of things there isn't really that much overall difference percentage wise for the current ratio of Blams per submissions. If you want more Blams you just need to lower your standards a bit and be a bit harsher on those submissions most may consider borderline, instead of what most users do by giving them 2-5 because they tell themselves, 'that'll pass judgement, so I might as well help it by giving it a vote of 2-5', you know what I mean.

I say, 'NO FREE RIDES!!!'.

I don't really concentrate on building my stats as much as I used to. It's more a case of noting my milestones here when they come around. Plus it's interesting to keep an annual report to see how much time I've wasted here over 12 months.

Indeed, but at the rate that is going up it'll take me just as long to get that as some other minor stat milestone, 150,000 Medal Points for example.
