You should check them out, Bahamut! You can download the EP on page.
Free EP, eh? Can't complain about free stuff, except for games when I have enough to go through already.

Yeah, the stack of unfinished games gets bigger and bigger while the stack of finished games stays about the same size. LAME!

So dragons are more shallow than humans? Interesting...
Oh, humans are much worse.

So, if a human is capable of overlooking a flat experience, then dragons should have no problem with it.

From what I've seen, they are a fun range of subcreatures to play.
But compared to Goblins they just suck. :P
So Goblins are good to play.

Goblins are PERFECT.

Don't ask me when I'll even get to those.
And you should also check out Broadwalk Empire.
It'll take years before I even get to that.

I know what you mean. Currently I watch Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother (every now and then), Dexter (just finished Season 4) and Broadwalk Empire. My sister-in-law reccomends The Walking Dead as well as Breaking Bad... not enough time to watch it all...

I was given Chandra Ablaze for my birthday and now my elemental deck needs an overhaul. That should give it some nice power, though. See below.
Oh yes, those Planewalkers. All of them do look immense.

Now I have to spend hours overhauling my decks to work out what goes where. I think the artifacts deck will benefit, as will the merfolk deck.

True that. I recently popped in Resident Evil 3. Turns out I have to play it upstairs on our new TV because the old TV downstairs only shows the picture in Black & White (fuck you, NTSC!).
This is strange, though. I have played NTSC games before when I still lived with my mom. I only had a very tiny TV and connected my PS1 via my VHS Recorder to the TV. I could play the games in colour... so either I connected the VHS to the TV in a different way or it's just that the TV standing in my gaming room now doesn't support 60Hz, while my other TV did...

Well, you NEVER get transparent sleeves anyway, especially not with those transformation cards. BTW, with the Venser vs Koth decks, I feel I could be playing Venser quite a bit since the mixture of plain and island cards look interesting. I really can't see how a 120 card deck will work out.

True. Too many cards kill any deck instantly because you never get what you need during a game. I know it's really hard for beginners (or sometimes novices as well) to trim down a deck. If you found a combination of cards you like you of course want to use it in a deck. It's REALLY hard to trim down a deck. It might help if you try building a deck around a single combination of cards and see how that works out.

I can answer that. It looks awesome. There's nothing better than a bout of SNES Rock'N'Roll Racing on it. I quite often plug in my old units to my plasma, the only thing that wont work on it is shooting games though, you need a cathode ray tube TV for them too work. Which is a pity because I love playing Sega Saturn - Virtua Cop and Virtua Cop 2, because they would look amazing on the plasma, but alas they just wont work. Thankfully I kept an old Panasonic 100cm to play them on.

There's a bit of a problem after that, though. Your next VP milestone will then be 15 in total and then it's just getting to the last level. At least with the current level system is a million times easier to reach 16 VP.

After trying out The Simpsons Arcade on PS3, it didn't look too bad. Mega Man X on the Wii on the other hand, the pixels give me a headache from time to time but at least it isn't all blurry like GameCube games are.

Who else does that?
You. Or why else do you hide in human disguise if you walk through the streets?

Haven't I always said only my partner will see it in full action?

And this is why it's best to focus on one colour rather than trying out multiple. The mana cards are very similar to the Pokemon card game and when I played that and attempted multiple energy cards, it made the deck inconsistent. I know for a fact that with Magic there are cards out there that make it easier to play multicolour decks.

Shh, every time people say that Blams are becoming easier to get, the bottom falls out of the market and people seem to save everything in sight.
So no encouraging the blams, eh?

See? 7-9-2 was my blams progression for the past few days. I'm not just missing Blams to prove a point here >:(

I'm well aware of the transformation cards. They are damn weird since they break the whole concept of a playing card.
That's why you get an opaque backed set of deck protectors - that way, people can't see what is in your hand.
Well, you NEVER get transparent sleeves anyway, especially not with those transformation cards.

I've got transparent sleeves - I don't have any of those cards, either.

They'll add more of them.
Sweet. Get me on the payroll!
I'll be on the waiting line as well. :P

Then I'm buggered - you're the golden boy of Newgrounds and I won't beat you to employment with NG.com inc any more than I could have beaten you to a Tank award :P

Heh, shouldn't you keep it to 60? I can hardly see this game getting close to decking out.
I've got some decks that are over 120 cards - less chance of me getting what I want, but also less chance of being milled to death. Jace Belerin has a lot to answer for >:(
I really can't see how a 120 card deck will work out.

When 2 players you play against have cards that cause a player of their choice to put the top 4 cards of their library into their graveyard, you pack a few more. One of them does it for 20 cards, so I took it out of play, by adding a lot more low powered stuff in there.

Play against a Jace themed deck and see how you get on with just 60 cards, then.

Yeah, but the SNES as 16bit, the NES only 8bit. :P
I've heard the upscaling really destroys the picture. Maybe I try it out next week.
What I can say is, that a PS3 connected to a CRT TV via component cable looks somewhat good. A PS3 connected to a Plasma via component cable looks pretty good. But a PS3 connected to a Plasma via HDMI cable... WOW! It's a difference like day and night!

True, that's why I keep my old consoles downstairs. ;)

After trying out The Simpsons Arcade on PS3, it didn't look too bad. Mega Man X on the Wii on the other hand, the pixels give me a headache from time to time but at least it isn't all blurry like GameCube games are.

I would expect the old games re-released on the Wii should look better. Maybe I should do some testing next week... ^^

Who else does that?
You. Or why else do you hide in human disguise if you walk through the streets?
Haven't I always said only my partner will see it in full action?

Maybe. But why hide from humanity?

And this is why it's best to focus on one colour rather than trying out multiple. The mana cards are very similar to the Pokemon card game and when I played that and attempted multiple energy cards, it made the deck inconsistent. I know for a fact that with Magic there are cards out there that make it easier to play multicolour decks.

Multi colour decks can be fun to play. And you won't run into problems with creatures that have protection from a single colour. I know when I first started playing my friends all played single black decks. I got so fed up with it that I created a single white deck with lots of stuff that had protection from black, haha.
Also, there are some very nice multicolour cards out there. I don't know if "double lands" are still in use. Those give mana of two colours (for example either red mana or black mana), you can decide which one when you tap them.

Sorry, I stopped playing after the "Tempest" block, I never had to deal with a Planeswalker. :P
How about using cards that lets you destroy a permanent? ^^
But I had a deck that followed a similar theme once: Let the opponent draw cards until his library is empty... or until he was crushed to death by the Black Vise.
It was awfully slow, but very fun to play. Especially since I didn't had any creatures at all in this deck.
My fastest deck was the one with two Recycles. I could play the entire library in one single turn if everything went right.

Also: Do you have "Duels of the Planeswalkers" for the PS3? If so, we could play online.

That makes a lot of sense. I guess it would also make a difference what size plasma your using. I'm using a 60" Panasonic 3DHD Plasma TV and the SNES looks great through it. And that's only with AV cables. I use them off my Gamecube/64 since they are all the same as each other. Don't have my NES handy so I'm not sure if you can use GC/64 cables on the NES. But I would image if your using a smaller plasma or LCD TV, up to say 30", then it wouldn't make too much difference. If you do try it out, let me know how you get on, I may have to break the NES out for a session or two.

What I meant was those live albums followed a studio album release and as you can tell, they's released a fair amount in 12 years.

Ah, so there is something I have beaten you in. The only other two are blams and posts.

Ah, so tag teams are a little more official in Magic?

Well, there were some Wii re-releases. Those should at least look good on HDTV. However, I'd rather not get the Metroid Prime Trilogy since that's been known to have lessened the difficulty of the second game and I'd much rather use the GameCube controls than the Wii controls for Metroid Prime 1 and 2.

Haven't I always said only my partner will see it in full action?
Maybe. But why hide from humanity?

Because I hate them?

I have seen some special land cards floating around or the recent days so maybe they're still playable.

I have that but on Steam.

It's nowhere near as hard to get blams as people are making it out to be. I'm still averaging 50+ a week (and I know that there are others that are around the same mark) without trying too hard. And we only have to change the voting habits of a few more people and that number will rise drastically. Seriously if 5-10 more people vote 0-1 on shitty submissions instead of 2-5 then the submission wont meet the required passing judgement score and bingo, that's one less save the savewhores will get and the more people that realize that the better things will become. Then when the savewhores finally realize they are the ones fighting a losing battle they will start blamming for points again, instead of saving for points and what do you know, things return to the way they should be. So come on people, be one of those 5-10 voters that can make a difference to the portal. Clean it up with your important vote. Think of it like this. Soon enough, you will be getting blam points and the savewhores will be getting no points. Whose laughing at who then?
