At least you'll finally watch them. Beware of the holiday special, though. That one is by far the worst Futurama episode.

I'll bear it in mind.

Good point, you already made a lot of achievements and where we stand, not many achievements should come by. Your next total B/P shall be 110,000.
Yeah, I've not been moving all that quick on the B/P front this week - social achievement meant that the pace was hit a lot harder than I expected.
At least things are happening to your life outside Newgrounds.

Yeah, getting shitfaced and then consoling a friend because my ex has offended her. Great stuff.

Because you have determination to get to #1 and it would be hilarious if someone jumped above you from out of nowhere.
Yeah, but you'll have to pick them carefully, otherwise you'd lose a rank as well!
Because Haggard may jump above me as well?

Exactly. You'd feel the hurt, because you'd be one step further from the top 100. I'd have to get back in the top 100, because Voidist cunningly used the double deposit technique to effectively pull away from me. He's just one deposit ahead, but it's still ever so slightly annoying.

My thoughts exactly. I mean, just imagine this: They even pause football games to show commercials on Television! Oh fucked up is that?

Yeah, I agree. They don't do it as much in basketball, right? That seems like the only sport I'd be interested in on American television.

Of course that might still be a lot of waiting, but now we have coaches and players bitching and moaning and arguing for five minutes every time there's an arguable decision by the ref.
Yeah, but we have the fourth official for that. Coaches bitch at him, not at the ref.
Also, this reminds me a bit of Stuttgart vs. Bayern where one of Stuttgarts players was sent off with two yellow cards. Both times he fouled Robben. Stuttgarts coach was furious and later accused Robben that he was overreacting and that he was diving. Some people even claimed that Robben was provocating those fouls. One person said: "He's stopping right before the foul, he's looking where the other player is and then jumps. Robben should've gotten a yellow card here."
I don't know if this guy was serious or just trolling, but sadly enough this is very similar to what the coach of Stuttgart said.

Robbens comment to that: "This is sad, how can he say such things?"

Btw. those fouls where two very clear fouls and it really is beyond me how anybody can say otherwise. Too bad I can't find any youtube videos at the moment...

Well there are some attackers who are very good at provoking fouls, but a foul is still a foul. That defender probably should've been more careful after that first yellow, right?

Is that even like... an official job? :p
Well, they have to visit some trainings, that's for sure. But they are not professionals, as far as I know. But they should be professionals, so they can make a living as a ref and as a linseman and they can fully concentrate on their job as a ref. This can only help the sport.

Yeah, but who's gonna pay their salary?

Maybe they could have the clubs pay a yearly contribution to pay for professional linesman. Then have the rich clubs pay more than the poor ones.

Exactly! The 12-hour system is actually pretty stupid in my opinion. I don't know why we don't all switch to the 24-hour as the standard one.
Because people are stupid!

... That is why they must have these "Keep your hands on board" warnings at roller coaster rides!

Oh well, that happened to more artists. Many never managed to make it across the pond from our side either.

Hasn't Robbie Williams been trying for 20 years now?

I got three versions actually. The third, and my favourite one, is the one from Live in Pompeii.
Ah, live versions can be better, though some can be worse as well :P

Depends on the band I guess. Some bands aren't very good live, or their music just doesn't really work in large arenas.

Pink Floyd sounds very good live though and from what I've heard from my parents their shows were amazing.

And yeah, SOYCD is one of my favourite songs of all time. It's one of the songs I voted on in our annual top 2000 best songs of all time list. I liked to see it ending up at #16.
I'd have a tough time trying to pick some of my favourite songs of all time. I'm too eclectic.

Well I tend to have a hard time with picking favourite songs by my favourite bands as well, but I just decided to pick 2 songs max per band and didn't put them in a certain order or anything.

I might change some votes next year, but songs like SOYCD, Comfortably Numb, The End by The Doors and Stairway to Heaven by Led Zep are songs I know I will always love.

Yeah, who in their right mind would celebrate Christmas right before the year ends?

It should be celebrated during the middle of the year. We are short of holidays there.

However, we also walked out of the town centre, there where some more modern houses. I bet they had better windows, too.
Send in a complaint.

Yes, but to whom?

My brother liked the idea of traveling to Liverpool as well and we had more than enough time to waste.
Anything in Liverpool that interested him?

I think he stayed there once. At least he was familiar with Lime Street. I think there's a huge shopping mall there?

I like the symphonic elements of the band.
Speaking of Haggard, I should buy more albums from them. But I realized a big flaw in my "about 2 albums every other month"-plan: I'm going to Singapore in March, so I should save up for this trip a little bit...

I couldn't see any provoking behaviour from Robben there. He simply stopped the ball and stopped running. People said: "Yeah, but why does he stop running? He was provoking this foul!" - "Ok, what else could he have done in that situation?" - "Continue to run." <- conclusion: Never ever stop on a football field, you are provoking fouls. o_O

Well, it was my friend's birthday - did I mention that she's my ex-girlfriend's best friend? We rallied around to make the day special and took her to see Goon, then on to Pizza the Hutt and then the Red Man.

At the newly renovated Red Man, Bex complains that it doesn't feel like the old place. I was glad it's been tidied up. I can still have a drink with friends and enjoy it, though convincing Bex of that can take some doing. Words were exchanged and by the end of the night, we were all in a bit worse a mood than we should have been.

I don't think they have too many bootlegs over there. After all, they have very strict laws on nearly everything. Malaysia and Indonesia may have mostly bootlegs, though.
Also, Singapore has a very strict censorship (at least on magazines, so most likely for other media as well...), so I won't pick up any movies there. They are most likely cut. And to pick up cut movies I can just stay at home and buy some movies here. >_>

I still think that Guns 'n' Roses deserve a place there - Rush and Maiden's time will come.
Not until Axl gets his head out of his ass. In other words, never.

Put the political wankery aside for a moment - Guns were an above average band, with some talented musicians and massive drug abusers. No question that they do deserve their place in the hall, IMO

I'm guessing you haven't watched any of these episodes before.
Not one.
You are missing out on a lot but not for much longer. The following season is also a great follow up. There are two episodes that are a miss in season 5 while the sixth one is just the odd episode that was below average. Everything else is all and well.

I'll make sure that I sit down in March, to watch the movies again and make sure that I'm up to speed :P

I just reached 5,000 Experience points a few seconds ago, meaning I'm half the way to the big 10k. As I've been extremely busy the past few days and I've been pretty disheartened that I won't be able to reach level twenty-three before the redesign comes I haven't been too active with my stats, and yesterday I even missed a deposit, but I'm hoping that whenever all of this IRL drama comes to a close (as I thought it had a few days ago, incorrectly), I'll be able to continue honing my stats and to get back into the swing of it.

Fuck the NHS and fuck their incompetance! Bastards couldn't tell me right away to make an appointment with the doctors and left it on the third time I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription.

Listening to:

Motörhead - Bastards

Thanks to:

I hope I can get the next letter in the Metal-ABC done until this week end.

Heh, I have another review half-done but with the blackout today, it's not so easy to do some research.

We only have Clock Day in August so yeah, more holidays needed in Summer.
But Clock Day isn't a bank holiday. Even though it should be.

Neither is Halloween but we celebrate it anyway.

Uhh, I'd be careful with products over there. I'm always weary with a place like Singapore.
I don't think they have too many bootlegs over there. After all, they have very strict laws on nearly everything. Malaysia and Indonesia may have mostly bootlegs, though.

Even so, Singapore is one place I'd be careful with.

Yeah, when they're one of the last remaining rock bands to even consider.

I am tempted to do another marathon but I still have seasons 3 and 4 of Monty Python's Flying Circus to watch through and I got that for Christmas 2010.
