I'm not sure about this. Although hipsters seem to have more of an impact on the internet and such, when walking around the streets I seem to find emos far more common, although a few of the people I know whom used to call themselves 'emo' have been slowly swinging over towards the 'hipster' subculture instead.
By the way, if quadruples still count (I'm wary as my two recent ranks haven't been acknowledged), then this is my 5,555th post on the website. It is far more than I expected to have a week or so ago, but on a few days I've made quite a few, and I'm glad as this hasn't come by through spam posting or such, and very few of them are less than a few lines long recently.
