Well there you go. As for me, I've ordered Futurama season 5 online. I did see it in HMV but it was the limited edition with blu-ray, DVD and a T-Shirt. I doubted the size of the T-Shirt so I didn't get it.I'll just get more toys. I still need the Nibbler plush. My parents weren't able to get it for Christmas but I'm not going to fault them since they did well with the majority of presents.I've just ordered a horde of DVDs for birthday presents and one for myself. That reminds me, I need to update the Xmas list to a Birthday list, since some of the stuff I still didn't get my hands on!
The quality of those T-Shirts is usually horrendous, so don't bother.

Work can wear me out but I'm itching to work on icons right now. :P At least I was productive yesterday with my free time which allowed me to write up the review for Drakkar's Quest for Glory. I saw this album in an independent record shop in Liverpool and hoped it would be good considering the power metal feel of the artwork. Too bad it sucked. On the bright side, I have another review already written and ready to be post later this week and I'm close to finishing off the site's very first rant article.

Ok, listening to "Coming from the past" right now. You are right about "Hit the Lights", that was my first thought as well. The part after that hommage (?) to "Hit the Lights" actually sounds good, but it is interrupted by that orchestral sound. WHY? It's so out of place that it must have ended up there by accident. Or maybe the youtube video acts weird there...
The siging is horrible. Not only does the singer have a very strange accent (ok, he's from Italy, so you cannot expect him to pronounce every word like a native speaker would) but his voice in the first verses just sounds ridiculous. But it gets even worse, the chorus is SO unbelivably bad that one might think this is just a parody band like Nanowar...
Also, when hearing "Drakkar", I think of Drakkar Entertainment, a record label that has much better bands to offer than Drakkar... (ok, maybe except for Emil Bulls)
Would EPs do?Can't argue with that. Then it can be like 1.5 every month.YAY! But I wonder who would sell only a half of any album, haha.

He always referred to himself as being Deutsch (german) and referred to his "beloved german fatherland" in many letters.

It's still sometimes annoying to see how big the gaps are to those inactive users. I mean, I wasn't inactive for THAT long, was I? I have a deposit rate of ~60%, so that means over half of the time I have been active... and yet it still allowed the gaps between me and accounts with a sign up date not as long ago as mine to become that big... highly annoying.

Back then I was at level 14. I was hoping to get to levels 15 and 16 before the redesign but they sprang it before I could get to it. Back then I had only missed about a weeks worth of deposits so even with those points I wouldn't have gotten to level 15 (Since the bar was shifting, and I was still a good couple of deposits from level 15)
When the redesign came along they made the level 15 chain (By old levels) into the level 16 chain. However, I was skipped to level 27. WHile I am happy that it got me past a lot of the shitty lower levels, I will was pushed passed the chain. On the upside I did get the level 27 (Which were equal to the level 16) Numchucks.

It does feel like that. They should be ashamed of themselves for this record. They sure should be. Maybe I'll try to check out some other stuff later...
I'll just listen to other stuff in the meantime. This band failed to give me a good first impression so less excitement for now.
All you need to bring up is Kreator and you get a thumbs up.I could also bring up Haggard. :P
Of course. I did try some of their songs but they would be so much better without death metal vocals.
There are worthwhile EPs out there that have actual songs as opposed to just alternative version crap like what Dream Theater did on the Wither EP.Yeah, I'm still more into LPs.
Don't worry, I'm not going to argue with you.
So he gets deleted in the process. I'm good with that.Would be hilarious. "The redesing is out! We just had a minor database hiccup and as a result one user's data was lost..."
"Oh, a few others went as well but they were nothing of value to the community."
Trust me, those who you'll pass in that range will help a lot. Because of them, I'm in the higher part of #101-200.It's still sometimes annoying to see how big the gaps are to those inactive users. I mean, I wasn't inactive for THAT long, was I? I have a deposit rate of ~60%, so that means over half of the time I have been active... and yet it still allowed the gaps between me and accounts with a sign up date not as long ago as mine to become that big... highly annoying.
All you can do now is to look forward to a better deposit rate.

Back then I had only missed about a weeks worth of deposits so even with those points I wouldn't have gotten to level 15 (Since the bar was shifting, and I was still a good couple of deposits from level 15)
Oh yes, those were some good level icons. I ended at level 16 and for the 2007 redesign, my last level is the golden shurikens. Would have liked it to have been the golden sword but oh well. There's still tons of other good things that should be happening.

Pfft, I bump the stat threads all the time. :P
Welcome back!

They're already changing shit around on Gmail. I much prefer the old layout. Something about not having buttons at the top of the email listings doesn't look right to my eyes.

Not my fault that stuff's so confusing with history and borders.
But to be really historical correct he's neither german nor austrian. It's just that Salzburg now is part of Austria, but it wasn't back then. Or you could say he's both german AND austrian. But he's not ONLY austrian. ^^Right, to correct this, he's a musician. Or he was.
Now, this is a statement which cannot be disputed.

Good thing that accents cannot be heard over a forum, or else I would have to suffer badly.

Yeah, it's not really a top priority to check out other stuff, it would be just interesting to know if they developed in any kind.

In 25 days and 16 hours, we will know more.

Or I could try to bribe Tom with a steady supply of good german beer to set up my Exp to 30k right now. That way, my deposit rate would be at over 80%.
Congratulations to
Haggard - 37,000 Saves
Quinny - 8,000 Saves
Coop - 99,999 B/P, 100,000 B/P. Absolutely huge achievement, well done!

Ha, definitely. I'd love to end up with both my blams and protects at 31,337.
Well, I've just passed ramagi for 12th on the all time B/P list as well.
These achievements keep on coming.
3 more for Denvish!
Next milestone passed 13 voting power. Not really a big deal though >_<
Denvish, you have been Cooped!
I have now succeeded on what I really should have managed last year, but one thing and another prevented me from getting internet access to nail those last few hundred points!
Top 11 B/Per
It's down to a matter of weeks until I catch Ehwaz for the top 10!

Youtube's layout. Ugh.
It seems we had 24 days left. I didn't think it would be that short. I guess Tom really wants February to be a better month as you mention and maybe finally putting out a redesign will do it.
Or he wants to get all his headaches out in Feb.
