There is a list for Total Reviews? Why was I not made aware of this?!

So I finally played through Spyro 1. Great game and all but I would have been more attached to it if I played it years back. Oh well, there's always the other two games to play again. Although, I've forgotten how bad the voice acting was.

That's actually true. To be honest, I don't know what they were thinking with that album. If I have to hear it, I'll need to skip half of the songs and for any album, that's not good at all.

Also, NTSC stands for "Never the same colour twice". :)
At least the games look smoother.

But only if an NTSC game got conversed to PAL in a shitty way.
A game that is originally PAL shouldn't have any "smoothement issues".

And besides, the videos I've seen that are in NTSC format don't look any worse than PAL.

Well, NTSC had over 50 years to grow out all the bugs. But it's like this: PAL as more vertical lines. More lines means more picture information. More picture information means a better picture and colours that are more true to the original. And thus, PAL is better than NTSC.
Ok, on the other hand NTSC runs at more Hertz and more frames per second (if you convert 30fps NTSC to 25fps PAL you have to cut off 5 frames. If you don't do that the video will run unnaturally slow).
But in general, PAL is better. :P

Not bad at all. Usually if I'm not busy doing much I can get about 25 reviews in just a few days. Hope to see you be able to keep up at least a 50% pace in the Review Request Club this week too. Would be nice and easy considering there is not many audio reviews to do and I may just get all eight of them done.

I've got a few other things to review, so that should keep me busy and honest.

Thank you for releasing me! I recently played Spyro 1 again, I loved it all over again. I really want to play the second one, as I remember that one more.

I need to pick up the second game. If the indie game shop in Liverpool gets it, I'll be sure to swipe it. If not, I'll take a trip to eBay. I should probably play other games, though such as Uncharted 1 which I am playing. There's also FFXIII which I need to beat...

Listening to:
College feat. Electric Youth - A Real Hero

Not the kind of music I would normally listen to, but I went to see Drive this morning in which the two scenes with this song were quite powerful in my opinion.

Funny how a different context can make you feel so different about certain kinds of music. Had a similar feeling about the last song in Warrior which kicked in just before the credits.

Famous sons rarely do. The only ones I can think of sporting wise would be Brett Hull son of Bobby Hull (NHLers) and Barry Bonds, son of Bobby Bonds (Both baseball players). Sons of the truly greats never amount to as much as their famous fathers, the expectation is too great.

I think what's even worse is when you listened to an album so much that you start to hate it. Like, it was awesome in the beginning and you listened to it over and over again and then you just grow tired of it. Happened to me once or twice.
I'm just glad I only listened to that album once. Oh, I've listened to both Keeper of the Seven Keys albums around 100 times by now and they're still some of the best music I've ever heard.

Yeah, some albums you will never grow tired of.

At least the games look smoother.
But only if an NTSC game got conversed to PAL in a shitty way.
A game that is originally PAL shouldn't have any "smoothement issues".
Which in that case only applies for newer games. The older ones, they suffered a lot.

True, but you still can't blame the PAL system for shitty conversions. It's the companies that fucked it up.
And of course I still think there should be one universal standard. No need for conversions anymore.

Go with the basis of where it was originally. George Michael doesn't sound so good, compared to this. Forget who is performing, just listen to the music. I mean, otherwise, I'd never listen to half of my music.

Well I'm sure you know the Maldini's too. Paulo Maldini's father played for AC Milan and the Italian national team as well. Furthermore, his sons are quite the upcoming talents too I've heard.

I thought that the Baggios were in that number as well, but I was mistaken. Roberto and Eddy are brothers, but not sons of a footballing father. Perhaps Roberto can start a dynasty with his two sons, Mattia and Riccardo?

Right, coming Summer 2012, a new sitcom - at home with Hitler. A sitcom exploring the fraught relationship of the Fuhrer and Eva Braun, with the completely hilarious situations they became involved in.
And the embarrasing situations like when Göring gets drunk on their christmas party and starts whispering obsceneties in Mrs. Goebbels' ear.
"No, give me a peanut right from the bottom of the bowl, Maud!"
Is it a salted... peanut?
No, the Simpsons were never that crass, Homer was drunk and gawping at Maud's bosom.

Manilla Road to the World - Part 10: Sands of Time (Spiral Castle)

Still no sign of the laptop but it should be done today. If not, oh well. At least I'll be in London tomorrow to see Manowar live so I have that to look forward to. Anything else, I finally started up Uncharted 1 and so far, it's pretty good, although the similarities with this game and Tomb Raider are dangerously close.

Uncharted is excellent (though I never played tomb raider so could never make the comparison). I'd definitely recommend playing Uncharted 2 if you like #1 - they ironed out a lot of the wrinkles from the first game and it looks incredible.

Oh right. But isn't it usually pronounced Olivier? Maybe the Dutch football commentators always said Olivier. Wouldn't be the first name they mispronounced...

It's pronounced a bit like "Olive" just with an "r" at the end. Anyway, most people with the name "Oliver" are just called "Olli" anyways.

Oooooh a zombie division. I like the sound of that idea. Always handy for ... times when we need slow moving... brainless... smelly units for our operations.
I think Zombies in movies are always underrated. They are unstoppable!
