Yea, it was mostly codes being put on for all the scary stuff but the Elegy doll was still pretty creepy to me. They did a great job of making both the videos and story creepy.

Damn - it was a great WWII comedy, set within the French Resistance and "hero" Rene Artois, who runs a cafe in a picturesque occupied French town. Basically, he gets called on by the corrupt German officers to run errands, while also working covert missions for the resistance. Things go wrong all the time and most of these could result in him getting shot by one side, the other or indeed both.

As far as I know and have heard it's mostly a very disorganized protest all around. People are bandwagon hopping and spreading this shit around. It's gone from New York or wherever it is at to places in Canada in Texas as well. It's mostly idiots whining at big companies for making money while they are poor and not able to find jobs.

I think the thing that tended to creep me out the most was the music just playing in reverse all the time only. That and someone made a short video out of it and did well with it.

Good enough for a little small talk here and there, but not good enough to really grasp the finer subtleties (wait, that's a tautology now, isn't it?) of the language. Sometimes I get the true meaning of a phrase only years later, after I have used it myself quite often. But of course I don't have an example at hand right now.

Or I could put it this way: Without the help of sites like dict.leo.org or dict.cc I would be pretty much lost sometimes. Especially Coop tends to use words I never heard before. ^^

Seems like the show was aired in 2010 on a station I rarely watch. Also I would guess that most of the jokes are lost in translation.
