If there's one gold level I had to mix with dark, it would be level 51. It doesn't look bad with it but it looks even better in light.

I think I have to go with this one, though, as it has taken me nearly 7 YEARS to reach.
Hopefully my next 10K wont take such a long time. I think I'll shoot for...Oh, I don't know, how's a 1000 days sound? Doesn't hurt to be optimistic, anyways... :P

Ahh I see. I have yet to start playing FF XIII however I always found FF XII very fun. I haven't played it in awhile but I had almost all side quests completed except the Omega Mark thing (which to me just looks like an overgrown pain in the ass mimic) and the toughest of all known as Yizamat (unlike that one FF XI boss, this one can be beaten with patience and it doesn't have any spells to auto-restore itself to full health). Very fun game though even if Vann seems a bit whiny most of the time (at least to me anyways).

I never cared about FFXII enough to beat Yiazmat. However, now I'm finding myself back to Rollercoaster Tycoon. Damn you Deus Ex effect.

I look forward to you passing me, even if it's years away. The only way I'll go back to earning B/P is if they put the ranks beyond my retirement.

To be fair, I do like the fast pace action in FFXIII. The flexibility of the moves does make the engines feel free from dust. Not saying the previous battle systems were bad, though but this feels a lot faster.

You know I'm playing FF9 again right now and I actually love how it is so hard to do high amounts of damage. I mean, if you hit for 3000 in this game, that's already a lot. And the guy with the most HP only has 80,000 HP which isn't even the final boss.

I guess they wanted a change from 1,000,000+ HP bosses they had in FFVII and FFVIII.

Have never played Rollercoaster Tycoon, how good is it?

I've played it many times before. Excellent game, despite the lack of option to speed things up. One year takes 75 minutes and a lot of levels generally require you to spend 3 or 4 years game time-wise in order to beat them.

As for Yizamat I could probably beat the dragon thing if I had enough time on my hands, would have to have a perfect gambit setup and then walk away for a couple of hours.

Ugh, fuck the gambit system. It only makes me feel lazy when using it.

It may work for another series but this is something they should hold off for a while.

I thought it was sad to see last Tuesday that my favorite club, Ajax, got wiped off the pitch by Real Madrid (3-0). Ajax used to be amongst the best clubs in Europe, but they just can't compete with clubs like Chelsea and Real Madrid anymore.

Yeah, I feel the same about Aston Villa - we won lots of competitions in the early 80s, but now we're lucky if we can finish mid table.

Well, back in the day, we won seven FA Cups, seven league titles, finished runner up 10 times and we won the Eurpoean Cup in 1982. I know that Ajax have won 4 titles, but I'm just expressing our rich history.

Mum said she doesn't care what I do, but it's not hard to see she's lying. My brother's baby machine had her third kid yesterday (his second) and I'd just rather ignore the situation. There's two versions of events on this - most of the details I'm still not comfortable with, so I keep them off the internet, plus I might write a book about them someday. I'm just sick on mum leaping to the defence of my brother's girlfriend. I hope she does the same for mine, if Phil ever bad mouths her. If I catch him doing that, I'm likely to go nuts.

Yeah, I'll have to get it at some stage, but I've got other things on my want list ahead of it. Made some of my friends laugh, as driving them to another friend's house, I gave them about 6 minutes of "Trapped in the Drive-thru". Difficult to sing, but well worth it.

The gambit system feels like the game is doing all the work for you. I feel FFXIII is at least an improvement since auto-battle could do the unwanted commands. However, you still lack control from the other two party members.

I suppose, still want to buy the game at some point and play. Also what's up with Excalibur II? It's not much better than Excalibur and you have to beat the game in an insane time. D:

sadly I'm going to miss a ton of deposits in the not too distant future.... I'm moving and i will not have internet for at least 2 months.
