What? Jeter only needed 2 hits to reach 3,000 hits and he went 5 hits from 5 tries. Ergo, minus three, as he moved from 2,998 to 3003 in one game. I found out about it 3am on Sunday, but couldn't be arsed to tell all.

I've fielded at most of those over my career. Wicketkeeper and third slip are the two that I probably haven't yet. Oh and Silly point - we never use that one. To keep it simple, I'll probably be mid on / mid off today, with a bit of bowling thrown in there for good measure.
And in rugby how many positions are there?
More on the countdown, I did expect reverend to come along and say something about Jeter along the way to spoil it, though he probably knew anyway. Needing two hits, Jeter entered yesterday's game with Tampa and hit a single first up, but then the bomb - only his third of the year to tie the game, which we won, fittingly.
Now to go and ramble about Jeter and his place in history in the baseball thread...
I had no clue that was the countdown. I guess I should have figured when you put it on pause when Jeter got injured. It's so obvious now.

Well if you think modding becomes too much of a drag... You could also decide not to bother too much with the general forum anymore if that's the problem.
Yeah I think it is. In any case, just don't get the wrong idea and think they're all the same and all think alike :pWell they do have core principles although I do know that each tend to vary on somethings like eggs, milk, and other gray areas.
Well yeah... though I don't think you could be considered 'vegan' if you aren't strict on milk and eggs. That'd be kinda lame. Like my gf knew this girl who said: "Yeah I'm vegan, though I'll gladly make an exception for a Turkish Pizza." Turkish Pizza contains kebab and minced meat in the dough -.-'
But yeah, there are some gray areas. Like some products can possibly contain 'traces' of milk or whatever. My girlfriend usually doesn't care, because that often only means it's produced at a factory that uses those products for other food they make.
Who then let him work as a janitor at the office XDWell when you have kids, I'm sure you expect them to do chores like cut the grass and do the dishes, heh.
Perhaps you do but not me :p My parents never expected me to do such things either.
