Well it's kinda like business. I'm doing an AVCE ICT course (Advaned Computers). It involves pretty much everything thier is to cover in computing. Spread Sheets, Data Base, PhotoShop and even how to build a PC. It can get pretty hard, but i enjoy it :)

First off, apologies for not being around since page 255 (i.e. 4 days ago). I would have posted some about 12 hours ago, but Houston was hit hard by floods, as anyone in North America who's been watching any weather reports in the past 12 hours probably knows already, and I got a bit of water in my apartment. Not a ton, and hopefully they won't have to replace the carpet and padding (like they did in the summer of 2001 when we had a HUGE flood (Tropical Storm Allison)), but... anywho, still a pain. Trying to dry the carpets and hoping the sandbags at the door keep the rain that's STILL FALLING OUT THERE away (been like 8 inches in some parts of the city, it's insane for not being a tropical storm or anything)....

Lightning was the first to respond to my poll question, Recon, and yep, he seems to be the only person in favor of General (at least on page 255, I'll be reading the other pages sooooon).

Lightning, those are kinda the reasons I was thinking General had a few things going for it. More people will see the list (just as more have seen NGling's VP list because it's on General), and while the replies won't all be from people that simply enjoy stats like 99% of them are to my top 50 list threads, for example, the user ID list is more of an all encompassing list for NG's denizens, and not a statistic list.

The only stat, after all, is ID # (well, and sign-up date).

Anyway, yeah, some old users that are actually on the list, like say humantarget and bigbadron and others... never come to Where is/How to... but they do read General. And thus they're more likely to see my list on General.

There's also the fact that my original list thread was on General.

I created the memberlist because when I joined WIHT in the spring, I felt like making a list (do I ever NOT feel like making list? #;-}>)... and so I did.

In the summer, when Spancker returned in late July, he wanted to use the memberlist thread as kinda an official vote counting and other official stuff HQ thread and keep level up! as a primarily conversational and informal thread.

It pretty much died out again when Spancker left again, but that's also due to the fact that we stopped adding members for a long while.

Anywho, if it wasn't already revived this time around, I would have done so to post the updated list there, but MacBeth had already posted to it asking if he could join... sooo... there ya go.

BTW, guys, I'm going to reformat the list again at some point, because the new BBS style is still fucking it up. Eh.

hmmm... well, it's tough to say how I feel exactly, because I share Recon's opinion that it's silly of you to just want to give up your spot in the WIHT because you feel ashamed of not being around here or something. What do you mean by guts to face us, anyway? You don't need guts, we're your friends. Just come and say hi now and then. I told redrum the same thing, because he hadn't been around in a couple months and then I noticed he WAS around, but just the RPG Club. #;-}>

Anyway... Seriously, why do you think you've lost our faith and so forth? If you just don't want to bother with leadership decisions, then I suppose you could turn leadership over to Recon and I, since you pretty much had already, but at least keep your #1 position in the club. Okay. Well, it's not exactly a sheer numbers vote this time, like when I was asking people about what format the new top 50 format should be, but... I do welcome all opinions. I'm mostly looking for reasons why general or wiht is better, though, not a vote. Though it seems to have changed from 4-1 to 3-2 in favor of WIHT, a much narrower vote.
