It's the only thread I posted in for quite some time. Not a bad thread. The whole Wi/Ht forum seems a bit more civilized than the others, if you will ;)

Much more then the General thread. But before this thread there was one other thread I used to post in before it was locked. That would be the Rage's give to you thread. But yeah this forum is seems to be filled with more calm level headed users then the most of the others.

Not a lot of activity in here today. I don't mind, makes making a list real easy :D

I hit 6666 B/P, accidentally said saves in my previous post, whoops. Shows how tired I've been from working lately.

Also, 15k Medal Points, which totally deserves congrats, imo. These are hard for me to get because I suck at a lot of these games. That and the fact that I get hosed on them sometimes and have to replay all over again. No clue why, must be some sort of 'medal sending' issue...

Congrats to:

Ahh the day's of Rage's abusive reviews =) I give thanks to it for my deity whistle. I still think that should be allowed really, it's not our fault people started flagging everything like machines. People who write abusive reviews should be called out on them and publicly humiliated, imo. It would help discourage them, and even if it didn't, it would certainly help get rid of them.

But yeah, I love this thread. Everyone is generally polite and more level headed - good word choice.

Lol, yeah. Even though I do like St. Anger I have to agree that Death Magnetic is far better.

Now that is something we can agree with. Death Magnetic may have tried hard to imitate the Metallica classics but dammit, I'll easily take it over their last few albums. I hear Metallica will be working on a new album in the new year so I wonder what that will be like.

And I will take care of those great responsibilities.
Hopefully so.

I think I saw a few nominations for Evark so it could be either you or him.

Anyway, you are getting voted for Never Logs Off? Lol! I remember I voted you for that in the midyear awards, but that was mostly a joke since you voted me as well with the comment that I was always online when you were :p

We should hold our own awards.

Do I really want to contact Tech Support just to get hopes on my computer?
Could be worth it unless you want to reformat you computer and see if that works.

Nah, I've got better things to do. The hell with hope!

Nope, I can't see why I was underrated to begin with. Maybe they only thought that because I wasn't a mod. Well, I'm taking care of the BBS now so no more Most Underrated votes for me.
Underrated Mod, perhaps?

Yet I could win Best Mod this year? No fucking way!

The fact that he's #6 in B/P is rather sad. Then again, our top B/P'er is a complete prick so what does the morality of the top B/P'ers even mean these days? It's not a low level, honestly even level 10 is kind of a high level if you don't have any post, in my opinion. The top 7 users in Experience almost never post at all, some don't B/P either, I don't see the point in depositing a lot if you're not going to post.

As you pointed out, it's Blackjack. Or three touchdowns. Or the legal drinking age here in America.

Surely you can't not appreciate the work he does around here. Comparing Poozy with Ultor is rather extreme, don't you think?

Perhaps. There is however, a way to do things and it's nothing to do with the quantity of people you ban, nor the threads that you lurk in. The point I was making about Ultor was that people seem to judge Poozy by his number of bans. He has a lot of them and I don't claim to be perfect, but that's not the only thing that makes a moderator great.

You were betting I wouldn't be catching up within a month or so. I did post on Clock Day, but it wasn't a full catch up, so the "... oh wait" was implying I'd be stupid to take a bet that I'd already have lost in advance. #;-}>

You can retake the bet anytime you like ;)

Pffffff well you didn't catch-up on my replies to you from months ago (yet) so that saves me a lot of time.
Anything I didn't reply to I ain't replying to evar, man! I cut out tons and tons of stuff I coulda replied to, sorry some of your stuff was amongst the casualty count, but I had to amputate a limb to save the catchup. #;-}>

Well I can't remember what we were talking about anyway. Probably some U2 stuff amongst other things.

Speaking of U2, have you been to their latest show or not? Also, I've heard they're gonna release a new album early next year.

Well you spend half the time on TF2 and the other half on your wife? :p
Back when I was posting all the time in 2003-2005, I spent just as much time with my then-gf as I spend now with her, is the point. There was no Steam or TF2 for me back then, though, that's the difference. #;-}>

We have confirmed the problem then. Time to do something about it.

He has probably been trained to fight inception attempts, to protect the future plans of the future billion dollar company. We'll go for Wade.
Hahaha....

Let's have Bedn do it.

Yeah let's have Bedn do it. We need someone Wade will trust when we're in the third level of the dream stage. Oh wait...

Since when is 21 an awesome number? It's like the mother of all prime numbers. Oh yeah, there's Blackjack, but is every number below 36 awesome all of a sudden? They can all make 36 when added to another number...
As you pointed out, it's Blackjack. Or three touchdowns. Or the legal drinking age here in America.

Lots of things = 21. #;-}>

And yes, pretty much every number under 36 is nifty. Every single one of them sure beats that number 1 above 36, at least! #;-}>

But come on, it's the prime number 3 times the prime number 7. What comes out are two of the most primary prime numbers in existence (counting 1 as a prime number). I always thought you hated those with a passion...

Yeah! If anything, 5 is a wannabe 2 since 2 was there sooner!

Yeah, but just because KWAS got away with it for a long time doesn't mean that Ultor will as well.

You'd think that, but here is the guy that's been review permabanned 3 times and waltzed back into reviewing each time, without so much as a by your leave.

Yeah how does that keep happening anyway? Are you guys often sleeping on the job or something?

Before I promote latest stuff I submitted, let me say FUCK YEAH ODDBOX FOR CHRISTMAS! I've been waiting to play the Xbox Oddworld games for so long and now I can finally get them as soon as they're up on Steam!

Anyway, new gaming rant about obsolete titles and I made some fun metal comparisons.

Let's do it!

Is it really that necessary? Choices are far too limited here.

Oh yes I've seen his name pop up a few times as well. We'll see, still 12 days until the nominations round is over. Although I don't expect many votes anymore at this point.

Yeah, I think we're all done with the nominations except for any resubmissions. Some could do with mentioning a few more for other categories.

I almost always see you online as well at the normal times when I'm online, but when I'm here outside of my normal hours I usually don't see you around.

You mean during the daytime? I'm at work then so there's no chance of myself getting on here then. Heh, if I was still out of a job, I would have won this by a longshot.

So I don't think I would vote you for Never Logs Off, but if you are nominated I might vote for you anyway if your fellow contenders seem less worthy of the award.

I don't know if any others are sticking out well for Never Logs Off.

Don't know if they are "imitating" their classics there, but the songs sound a lot more like Master of Puppets, yes.

I'd say a mixture of Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and Justice. That Was Just Your Life has that Battery feel at the start, The Day That Never Comes was pretty much a fusion of Fade to Black and One, Suicide & Redemption is the Orion/To Live is to Die of the album (as already stated) and My Apocalypse is along the lines of Damage, Inc. and Dyers Eve. Still, it's a good album and a step in the right direction for the band. To go anywhere else could be another bad move for them.

New album you say? Wow, now I'm excited. :)

Yeah, they said after their current tour, they plan to go back to the studio and record another album. It's hard to say when we'll get it but I know they take their time. I actually have confidence in their new album since Megadeth have done good after the disaster they made known as Risk.

And now I start my quest to change the world forever.
GO YOU!

Already on my quest! How's it going so far?

Damn straight. That guy left so long ago, it was like he was never here in the first place.

True that. He left well before I even had a chance to discover this site. Heh, funny how his last post talks about him being 18th in the B/P ranks. That's where I am right now! I heard he had to leave NG due to paying too much attention on this site and not enough on his studies. I remember one user claiming that but it's hard to say if it's true or not. It's a shame he hasn't returned since.

Next time, my friend. That's if you slack off again.
See my comments elsewhere. VP list, maybe? Hell, can't remember which thread. #;-}>

I'll come across it whenever I reply to those posts. I'm thinking after I check up on the other forums and depositing my alts, I'll finish off the Sam & Max episode I'm on and then go through your replies. If I still have time after that, why not go for more Sam & Max?

Watch as I fail these plans somehow.
You know, I actually like the Shortstop. Seems pretty powerful for me and has done a fair amount of kills.
Some are calling it too easy to use for unskilled scouts. Personally, I'm having a hard time with it, but I'm just that used to the scattergun. If I ever get the hat, I guess I'll have to get my shortstop practice in finally.

I do like the Scattergun myself and have done well with it but something about the Shortstop makes it feel very comfortable. I can't wait until I get my Mad Milk and Milkman hat. That should be a nice set to use. Hmm, out of the five Polycount hats I can craft sometime soon, I suppose I should go with the Scout. I may like Pyro's weapons but the hat is so meh in comparison to its other hats.

Well, using a knife and a fork can be awkward for our race. Why not just use our hands to eat our food?
USE YER FEET AND TAIL!

That isn't even manners at all. Who even uses their feet for knives and forks at a dinner table anyway?

But Japan is extra special.
Well, I lived there for 3 years already, and while I wouldn't mind returning to visit someday, especially since my wife would love to go and never has so much as visited, I don't think it's the first place I'd think of for a NG meetup, that's alls I'm sayin's.

If Japan isn't a yes for a NG meetup, what about London? :D

Besides, for months now I've been saying "yes, yes it is!" because you've got everyone and their mother blaming my marriage on taking up my time instead of TF2, ze real culprit. O_o

But it became really suspicious when you didn't post for months after your marraige.

Yeah, I'll have a word with him.
Uh oh.

I'd ask him on Twitter but he already explained his situation. Hmm, come to think about it, I haven't seen him on TF2 for a while now.

HATS HATS HATS HATS HATS HATS HATS
Gotta be more in-depth than that.

That good enough?

It's rather strange to me that most top users, especially the top exp users, are totally inactive on the forums - and most are pricks. Not saying any names...

I can only name one bad highly ranked EXP user and that's about it. By highly ranked, I'm talking about the top 200. For the inactives, I suppose many just care about keeping their EXP ranks high. Too bad some of them above me can't call it a day. :P

I'm touched, thanks. You do realise though that I'm hardly a candidate for the top of the B/P tree, these days.

Maybe not but if there's anyone who deserves it, it's you. Heh, maybe I should have continued B/P'ing and have another great model user in the top 10. Nah, I'm much happier with my 7's. And besides, I don't have to worry about checking for new flashes to vote on all the time.

With that vote, you now have 8,090 experience points. You need 0 more to get to Level 28. The next Grounds Gold day begins in 10 hours, 9 minutes, and 17 seconds.

That means level 28.

Maybe that was a bad metaphor and this is a case where there isn't a good one to be said. I tend to think of a good mod is one that has some serious dedication and does what needs to be done even when nobody wants to do it. I'm sure you can point out he had been little rough with users, but as a whole, he's not as bad as most might think considering how many hours he spend lurking in General and the average intelligence of that Forum.

Sure that won't get him best mod nods, but it shouldn't make him an automatic qualifier for worst either.
