Hmm... not really how I look at it. Then again, the money I would be 'pouring down the cludgey' is not actually money I earned myself. Perhaps I would look at it differently once I get a decent job and earn my own money.

But when I'm done studying and get a job I'll probably look for a house anyway. I expect that I will earn enough and my gf probably already has a job at that point.

The difference between my £75 per week all inclusive rental with my parents and the £800 ish per month for the mortgage, food bills, and utilities means I would be living hand to mouth.
