Yeah, getting all the obtainable hats is almost impossible at this point. I may not get anywhere at all but I'll do what I can to get as much hats as possible. For now, I'll just focus on the hats I want the most.

It's not that hard, really. If you're after a specific weapon, you'll get it eventually. As for crafting metal, I just have a page for spare weapons to craft eventually and craft them whenever I feel like it.

I suppose so, I guess I haven't been playing long enough to be getting large volumes of spare weapons. That said I have found like 4-5 Direct Hits in my time.

You'll need four refined metals to get it. I'd only craft four refined metals if I really need one of the polycount hats. I remember crafting four refined metals with a pyro token and all I got was the beanie, the weakest Pyro hat at the time. I was harping on the brigade helm or the brain slug but luck wasn't on my side. However, it wasn't as bad as getting the Trophy Belt by crafting. THAT was a bitch!

Yep, that's what I'm seeing. One person in the TF2 crew might trade his Hallmark with me if I gave up the Rubber Glove and refined metal. While I like the Rubber Glove and want to collect all the Pyro hats, I'll make that sacrifice for the Pimp hat.

Before the drop system, we had to farm achievements to get them. :P Well, you can still get them that way but you might end up getting the items by the time you reach those milestones. Just treat them as extra crafting material in that case.

I guess the main problem with most new students is adjusting. Compared to high school, you must do a lot more by yourself, the pace will lay a lot faster and teachers aren't gonna care much about you anymore. At least that's how it is at the uni here, but I assume it's no different in colleges.

That's what I'm worried about most. I'm going to have to motivate myself now. I really need to get some study buddies or somethin to help me make it. I suppose having you guys as friends in school will help a lot too. We got my grant information back today, and if I'm approved for all grants, my first year is totally paid for! Yeah it's a pretty decent hat, although to be honest there aren't that many hats that I really dislike, other than the aforementioned beanie hat.

I actually don't mind the beanie hat. It suggests Pyro has the mind of a child. :D

Bahamut has a thing for the number 7 I suppose. Bahamut was formerly named Bahamut7 (in case you don't know).

I guess the main problem with most new students is adjusting. Compared to high school, you must do a lot more by yourself, the pace will lay a lot faster and teachers aren't gonna care much about you anymore. At least that's how it is at the uni here, but I assume it's no different in colleges.

That's what I'm worried about most. I'm going to have to motivate myself now. I really need to get some study buddies or somethin to help me make it. I suppose having you guys as friends in school will help a lot too.

Yeah making some friends and laying some new contacts is definitely a good plan. It really helps you keep yourself up to date with what's going on and what you have to do for this and that course. Plus it will make your college experience a lot more fun of course.

We got my grant information back today, and if I'm approved for all grants, my first year is totally paid for! O.O Wish me luck on that!

I read that a long time ago. I thought it was an interesting look on the game and IIRC it actually makes more sense than saying it was all real (considering the events that happen after disc 1).
