Coop gets into work early, just so he can congratulate:

Coop finds a Simpsons Intro for Bahamut, before congratulating:
You know the show is bad when the intros are better than the episodes themselves.
Apparently the animators nearly walked out over this. I find that incredibly hypocritical, considering that they lampoon pretty much every other aspect of life, that they should get a sense of humour, or some new animators.
For some reason, this now gives me The Simpsons animated in the style of Ren & Stimpey.

I know who the Ents are but what business do I have with them in the first place?
Growing forests over your lands?
I'm not after any forests around here. Just my dark cave will do. :D
Tree roots can penetrate the ceiling of your dark cave, causing unnecessary cave-ins. Have you notified your insurer?

Indeed he isn't.
Exactly - we love "In the Air Tonight", because of the drums, not because of his singing. In fact, Genesis was a good band, then Peter Gabriel left to do his own stuff (Sledgehammer rocks!) and Collins messed it up.
In the Air Tonight is about the only song from Phil Collins I like.
I'm not too familiar with Genesis' history, but I know Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins have had several hits after they left. Still for the quality of their music it might have been better if they stayed together. I think that applies to almost any band that has split up by the way.
True, though Bruce Dickinson's solo work is great stuff, I'm glad he's back where he belongs (Not quite as "Maiden" as Steve Harris, but getting there!)
The former one was Gordon Brown right? I thought the UK'ers were quite happy when Tony Blair was not their prime minister anymore, but I suppose Gordon Brown didn't do a much better job either then.
Gordon Brown was a brilliant Chancellor. The problem was, he was a poor leader. It's sad, but this is what accountancy does to people.
You see such things more often in politics. Oh well, I hope you guys are gonna have a better time with your current prime minister. Too bad it's not looking good so far.
The sooner we can get rid of this one, the better. I've never liked Tories, being brought up under Margaret Thatcher.

My plans are to reach 10,000 Posts by the end of 2011 (without spamming obviously) and so far it looks like I'm gonna make it.
Lock moar threadz!
I would, but other mods often beat me to it :(
Unlock the thread, delete their post, post your lock message and then lock the thread again :P
Must I think of everything around here?

lol well I'll take your word for it. So what's in a day in coop's life? You're an author, correct?
No, I work for a housing developer. The Author tag in my occupation is where I want to be. I find that putting that makes me feel better and reminds me of the goal all the time :)
Get into the office, tea, emails, phone calls, more tea, more phone calls, emails, letters, meetings. Then home, try to avoid worsening conflict with family, head out for socials, head back in, bed. Pretty routine there, though factors can change.
