Congrats! I still remember my 3,000th post, which I made back at the time when I wasn't that active on the forums. I was quite happy with that achievement.

Man, 3,000 posts is going a long way back for me. I reached that milestone on 21st May 2005.

Due to the sky high expectations I bet the game will be disappointing to some, but from what I've seen so far it looks like a solid game.

I'm not building any expectations. I'll be happy enough for the game to come out.

I guess there is a chance Metroid Dread might come out. As far as I know Nintendo has always brought out the games they announced.

They have but it's not like them to put a game on hold even for a few years.

If I had the money to move out of this shithole. Then again, maybe all I need to do is talk to someone about the issues I have around here and maybe that'll be it.
Well you got a job now. Surely you must financially be able to hire an apartment somewhere.

I have doubts. You should know it's really hell-ish for finance in this country. It's so bad that the tory bastards are taking away benefits as well as raising the VAT, thus fucking up everyone besides the rich people. Whoever voted for these pricks should be ashamed of themselves.

Ah yes, I've been having a bit of fun with the Polycount update myself. I'm trying to get all the items and so far it's been alright. I've got the Holy Mackerel, GRU (Heavy's new boxing gloves) and Vita-saw.

Now THAT is hilarious! I take it they took the episode as a joke.
Sorta, our religion teacher was so cool, one day around Lent he came in and said "I feel like watching Father Ted, if anyone asks we're studying Lent". Great times for sure.

So, why do you bash me for not liking Manowar, when I listen to lots of other cool bands instead? Manowar are just one band I don't like and no, it's not because they look terribly gay, but because I don't like the stuff they play :P
PLUS: Manowar ARE very untalented when it comes to playing their instruments. Their songs really aren't masterpieces of modern music but more like something anyone could come up with if he just started playing an instrument three days ago. Even people who like their music admitted that Manowar are terrible songwriters.

Yeah, it's absurdly expensive. I'm just really worried that I won't be able to make it through or something, and I'll be stuck with some huge college bill and no degree :/

If it's something you really want to study then I doubt you won't make it. An uncle of mine in his teen days, was like the worst student ever and he ended being an excellent dentist, just because he really wanted to being one.

But again, if it's something you're really interested into, then you will make it easily. No matter how hard the career is.

Anyone who feels the need to beat someone up can add a meet up location to a map. And eveyone who also feels the need to get into a fight can scan that map for new entries.
Both guys meet up, fight, and are happy. No one else is harmed. ^^

Lol :p Awesome idea.

But I heard hooligans often already try to make appointments with each other on where to fight and it's not so much that innocent people get hurt, but more that hooligans also like to smash in windows, attack the police and destroy property. I think.

Yeah man, you can't even make this stuff up. I guess they used to allow it, but with the surge of people joining the military they enforced new criteria for recruits. I used to be a pot smoker in high school, never got into drinking, go figure.

I'm sure they won't make a big deal out of it here since smoking pot is practically legal :p

But yeah... would drinking be okay then? Essentially it's not so different from smoking pot, except that one is legal and the other isn't.

I'm doing pretty good so far, although we're about to have a new government here which is really gonna fuck students in the ass. Financially I'll pretty much be at the very bottom of our society in a few years time, although it's probably not gonna be as bad as some Americans who go to university have it ($100,000 debts and such).
lol yeah man, if I DO enroll this next semester (granted I get approved for the loans) I'm going to be in so much debt...it's really stacking up but since nobody will hire me, a degree would really help my chances. Idk it's still kinda up in the air, I'm supposed to have a buddy enroll with me since he's interested in the same program. I think that would help me a lot.

Yeah I heard stories about some American student who got into so much debt that she could probably only afford a small apartment for like ... the first 20 years she had a job. I don't know, but studying hardly seems worth it if you can get yourself in so much debt.

Of course this is an extreme case though. If I understood the story correctly she went to the wrong bank and picked the wrong loans.

In my opinion, they're better than Phil Collins', yet he still came out from behind the riser to sing.

You think Clapton is better than Collins? I don't know, they both don't sound so unique to me. I know plenty of singers who have a much more recognizable voice.

Man, 3,000 posts is going a long way back for me. I reached that milestone on 21st May 2005.

It's more like 2008 for me which isn't too long ago, but ever since I have greatly increased my posting pace and I'm well underway of reaching 10,000 posts before 2012 :)

Due to the sky high expectations I bet the game will be disappointing to some, but from what I've seen so far it looks like a solid game.
I'm not building any expectations. I'll be happy enough for the game to come out.

Indeed. I'm just curious about what it's gonna be. I don't expect too much. It's probably fine with me as long as it's at least decent.

I guess there is a chance Metroid Dread might come out. As far as I know Nintendo has always brought out the games they announced.
They have but it's not like them to put a game on hold even for a few years.

I wonder what's taking them so long. Perhaps they're gonna release it on the WiiWare/Virtual Console/whatever that thing is called? I guess the game might be suitable for that.

This story sounds quite familiar. I think similar things are about to happen in Holland now.

Basically, right wing parties and populists have taken the power and have plans to take lots of money away from ordinary people in all kinds of ways, while leaving the rich people mostly unaffected. About half of the people in our country think things are gonna get better for them now that non-socialists have control, while it's obvious that some will lose hundreds of euros per year eventually and might end up in a very bad financial situation.

What we get in return is a little more police out on the street, better care for old folks and a 135 million dollar Joint Strike Fighter. Woopdiedoo...

I just found out that
this happened at my University last year. There's more videos in the sidebar from the same account if you're interested :P

Senor Butthead, como es Juan?
Uh, Burritos.
Man, I wouldn't resist in laughing if a sergeant was shouting at me: WE'RE GONNA BE TALKING ABOUT THE PENIS! WE'LL BE TALKING ABOUT THE VAGINA! Poor Butthead :P

Yeah haha, I think the best part is when they get outside and let it all out lol.

My favorite episode, well, it's a tie with Vaya con Cornholio and Patients Patients.

One of my favourites as well, I love Cornholio so much lol.

Not at all. I'm going to see if I can juggle between PC games and console games. It would help both sides if I alternated between the two each day.
Yeah, mixing it up a bit is generally a good idea. Like when I took a break from Fallout at the weekend to check out the Polycount update :P
Ah yes, I've been having a bit of fun with the Polycount update myself. I'm trying to get all the items and so far it's been alright. I've got the Holy Mackerel, GRU (Heavy's new boxing gloves) and Vita-saw.

Ugh the Vita-saw, really want to get that soon.

Now THAT is hilarious! I take it they took the episode as a joke.
Sorta, our religion teacher was so cool, one day around Lent he came in and said "I feel like watching Father Ted, if anyone asks we're studying Lent". Great times for sure.
And thus he showed his students a great show.

A great show indeed.

Took me long enough to get here. Let's see if I can ever reach the big 10k.
That's a great milestone. Congrats!

Thanks!

Oh, I see.
On the bright side, I've managed to avoid it for three days. However, Friday is only two days away so I might go back to it then.

I haven't played Fallout 3 since I got back. I guess I will start again next week. Even though I can only play for two hours max a day it's still a lot more than I used to play a year ago. And it really helps with my progress in the game.

Nope, my reasons are justified, especially when you start saying I'm no expert in music.
Hey, you started it all by saying you didn't miss me because I don't like Manowar. How lame is that? Why don't you give me credit for all the other cool bands I listen to?
No, you started it all by mocking me for liking Manowar. I could give you credit for the other cool bands you listen to but you're not giving me any credit.

You mocked me for not liking Manowar first (this seems to be a bit like "The Hen and Egg problem" ^^).

But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright
You know I feel alright

You know I feel alright

So why is LittleBahamut still relevant?
He became relevant again when LittleWashu posted an achievement here after such a long break.
Ah, good point. You're not seeing the alt returning from depositing, though.

Which - of course - isn't such a big deal after all. XD

Only problem is, it already WAS the second date for the test, so no resit for that. And no, 300 out of 800 pages wouldn't have worked out.
I see. I would have given it a try nonetheless, but if you think it was really hopeless...

I had a good general overview over what I've read so far, but I couldn't memorize the details. And I had the feeling that every little bit I read could be relevent for the test...

But I heard hooligans often already try to make appointments with each other on where to fight and it's not so much that innocent people get hurt, but more that hooligans also like to smash in windows, attack the police and destroy property. I think.

Either way, hooligans suck.

If you are going to use that at least do it correctly. It is >_< not XD

But it saddens me that the alt won't come back into depositing and posting like myself but still it is not really a big deal >_<

Request an audio review. I could use some motivation.
