About the inverted question mark thing -- I've never had a computer where those alt + ### combinations work. Assuming you're using windows, go to start > programs > accessories > system tools > character map.

That little program will solve most of your symbol problems.

If you dont have that, if you have microsoft word, you can do insert > symbol, and copy and paste from there.

I've always been fine with my plain "?" though.

Well, it's your joice. But isn't 60 000 b/p in the same account more impressive than 30 000 in two? And wouldn't you be frustrated if NG made new top ranks going as high as let's say 50 000? And then you had to get 20 000 more instead of a smaller number to reach that rank? I hope you see my point. Although it is very little likely that new b/p ranks are made.

¿Que? alt-0191 (curiously, that's pretty much my b/p rank and the bus I use to go to work - spooky) works for me, but only on the numeric keypad. You are holding alt throughout, right?

How many deposits did you miss? Because I remember predicting that you would level up on the 5th or 6th and I'm always right within a 1-2 day deviation when I predict my own level ups.

I don't know about it - I like the way it looks like the other main areas of the site, but I preferred the old site layout. Black is good. Plus it means finding just the right shade of gray if I want to make my BBS sig blend in with the background :-)

just in case Recon (and others) aren't doing it right... you have to HOLD the alt key, and this type in the numbers on the keypad WHILE HOLDING IT. Don't let go of the alt key between each number or anything, it's one fluid motion.

I agree. Everything's fairly okay, but the lack of black background... it's no good. Also, level icons need something around them. A border to make them look better. and the level and aura text is too big.
