You are close to leveling up.You have 40 points,I see how you got confused. And cool another users first post was here.I don't really think this is the thread to ask you should of started a topic in the Wi/Ht forum.Just keep depositing and you will level up in no time.
77,494 B/P makes me 18th on the all time list, pulling ahead of Rule.
Now there is only Bahamut left and if this week is fruitful, I should be able to ninj past him in that time as well :D

One video in particular was horrobile, but it has been taken down by the uploader. He was right in the huge crowd that tried to reach those stairs.
Does anybody know the cause of the panic yet? It must have been pretty major to cause a stampede like that.
From what I read so far it went like this:
The festival area was full, so the police build a barrier so no one could enter.
There where some barriers on the way to the festival area, but it was so crowded that the people who where standing right in front of those fences pushed them away. Some people told they where nearly crushed to death if they hadn't moved away the fences.
Now there was: 1 barrier in front of the festival area. No barriers on the way to it. Of course the tunnels and that little place right in front of the festival area got really really crowded. Some videos from above then show some dangerous "wave movements" in the crowd (it can cause people to fall over). Some tried to climb a nearby container, others climbed some billboards. Either to get to the festival area or to just be out of the crowd.
Then those goddamn stairs had been opened. I think there was a security guard at first, but he left his place at some time. Other people thought, those stairs where the entrance to the festival area and tried to reach it. There where no signs at all that led the way. People told they where really confused when they reached the place right in front of the love parade because they didn't know where to go. Then they saw people climbing the stairs and thought that this was the way in.
Well, more and more people tried to reach the stairs and as a result of this it got so crowded some people where crushed to death.
The strangest thing is: Other people standing right next to where the panic happened didn't even realize the situation was serious. They had enough room to stand comfortably...

They would start shitting everywhere and start their own evil plan to become the dominant specimen of the world. That's why I'm their master.
Sure. I still think it's a good idea, but I'm still young enough to pick my decisions over what I'll have for a career. But I still want to do something I like.I'm still not sure if I REALLY want to join the Brazilian Air Force, but it would be great if it actually happened. There's a base I my city, and a couple in the south of Brazil, where I have familiars. I have to think about this...Oh, then now I see what's going on. Think very carefully about making that decision, since it's obvious it will affect the rest of your life. Independent of whatever you choose.
Agreed. Finding your own vocation in your life is the key to be happy and proud of yourself in this life. Even if I was rejected unfairly from uni I still want to study medicine. Although however I still have chance to get in the next semester and not the next year since 10 students dropped out of medicine school and I'm the number 8 from the rejected list :P
Cross your fingers...
Great, Brazilian pigeons are waiting for you. ;PCome to Brazil! ;PHell Yeah! That's one of MY dreams :P
Imagine how the airport would be when they wait my arrival: Full of pigeons EVERYWHERE :P
The two biggest cities. But don't forget Brasilia, since we are the capital!
Damn, I failed at geography. *Adds Brasilia to the list*
- Take a snapshot of the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer)
- Get deep inside of the Amazon jungle and watch the river.
Tough. You'd have to walk a lot, take a lot of vaccines and... don't die. :P
Sound interesting :P
- See if I have luck enough to meet Ronaldinho (if he is in the country) or Xuxa :P (same with her, lol)Xuxa lives in Rio, so it will be easier.
I can't wait to see the woman that made me a happy kid 13 years ago. I wish I could be outside of her residence and call Brazilian pigeons to dance Ilariê with me :P
Hahahaha. I can't believe I've turned out 18 and I still come up with childish thoughts. I've gotta say still thinking like a kid, at sometimes, makes me feel full of energy and pretty happy.
Although I know I'm a very mature person, I may come up with something childish :P
- Being in the legendary Brazilian CarnivalHey, another gringo!
I pretend I'll never read that.

I can't believe how hard has life turned these years. Whenever I see situations like these make me wish that I just could be a little kid again. No worries, adults took care of you, school was the hardest thing in that moment.
Also, years ago life wasn't that hard at all. Just because this stupid crisis the world seems to be pretty fucked up. Oh well, it was the same (maybe even worse) back in 1929 with the great depression. The world managed to get through with it, we can beat another crisis again.

I'm more forgetful when it comes to depositing for others. There's a chance my mind can slip and some people lose a few deposits because I was a forgetful bastard. However, I'll help out certain users when they need someone to deposit for them.I have never deposited for any other accounts other than mine. Yeah, you've stated before that you won't give the account to anyone else for them to deposit for you while you're away.
I'd say it's both. My laptop gets the occasional struggles with settings it's meant to be good with. I think Valve need to give it better optimization.Yeah, maybe they added so much the actual requirements for it have changed. And I still support the "slow-computer" mode idea. ^^

Hell, a few years back it didn't seem hard to get a job. That's why I'll always think that year I had in college was nothing but a fucking waste. If I just focused on employment as soon as I left school, I could have gotten somewhere ages ago but I suppose now that I've got a job, there's nothing to worry about. I didn't get them nearly as often on Windows XP. I probably would've switched to XP if my laptop had Vista installed, but since it had 7 I wanted to give it a try. So far I'm happy with it.I was thinking of downgrading to XP but then I thought, "I bet eventually there'll be some things that won't be compatible with XP." Turns out I was right since I heard the game Just Cause 2 won't run on XP and I'm sure more games will be like this in the near future.
Yes of course. That's probably my main reason for sticking with 7. I heard there weren't any new service packs or something coming out for XP anymore, so... I guess pretty soon you will be forced to switch to 7 anyway.
Yes, dual core. Is that not good? It's almost on par with mine. Mine is 2.40Ghz dual core.
Damn. I guess my laptop is not that super, but on the other hand I didn't say I wanted a laptop to play games with or anything. Otherwise the salesmen might have recommended me another one. The brand is Asus though and I heard those were the best laptops quality wise.
I won't be opposing it. I know I had a discussion about it with gfox long ago as well, but since he hasn't shown up in months I'm not sure what it was all about anymore. If you get Steam, you could talk to him there. Well, whenever he wants to show up, that is.
I suppose I could, but it might be easier to add him on MSN or something.
I'd rather stick to DVDs at the moment who cost half as much and still have the quality I'm used to.Suit yourself. The only DVDs I'll get these days are those that aren't available on blu-ray.
Which are a lot. Seriously though, for the 15 euros most of those Blu-Rays cost, I'd rather buy a DVD of a movie that was released recently and that I really wanted to see.
I got a confession to make :(Can I trust you? I'll just take your N64 if you can't guarantee those Manowar tickets. Now I know if I went for the Manowar tickets, I'll only read a message saying "Hah, you get no Manowar tickets off me! -Auz"
I don't have Manowar tickets, but I was hoping you wouldn't pick my N64. I would want to take that thing with me into my grave. I'll make sure I'll have Manowar tickets when I'm gonna have that dragon tattoo set.
I'll make sure I'll have them. I don't want to lose my N64, too much sentimental value :(
Otherwise you can take my Gamecube though. It has Metroid Prime 1 and 2.
It's cheap to call yourself someone who can disguise really well if you can shapeshift!I don't care. I'm still actually a dragon but the human disguise helps me a lot. I can't have too much attention around here.
Nah, they'll put you in a zoo and before you know it you'll have annoying little kids throwing peanuts at you.
Yes those were the days. Although I think I've seen many people mentioning 2006 as the golden age.2006 was still good but that's when I started to like General less.
Same here. I think I must've made my move to the Wi/Ht? somewhere halfway in 2006. I remember I was a little later than you. You might have been elected regular already.
Now he spends far too much time on his marriage.Actually, too much time spent on TF2.
Well if you manage to talk to him, tell him to finally get his ass over here. It's been too long and we still demand pics of the bachelor party.
Lol, it'll be quite an achievement. It sure will. I can't wait until I take on this ongoing FF challenge. I'll start this once I beat FFXIII.
I watched a review from Spoony about FFXIII. He said it was a really long game. He was about 20 hours in and still not much had happened yet.
Yeah I should probably do that as well, if I ever want to finish Final Fantasy Tactics.Haha, I don't have Tactics. I know it was remade on the PSP but I never got one since I felt there weren't enough games to get on it.
My brother has one, but I don't like it all that much. The poke is too small making it hard to accurately point things out on the screen.
FF Tactics is a good game though.
I'm actually getting interested in seeing that movie now.I am as well but after how Tommy Wiseau treated That Guy With the Glasses for reviewing his movie, I refuse to pay a single penny for it. Hopefully I can find someone riffing on it and watch it there.
Really? What happened?
Also did Luis meet that actor?I guess he just came across him there. What I wonder is if Tommy Wiseau knew Luis beforehand.
Is Tommy Wiseau like some sort of Weird Al Yankovic? Like some guy who gets involved in internet communities and memes and all that stuff?
Nooooo I don't want to think about my career and having children yet. I'm still young, aren't I? :'(Too bad, it's only a matter of time until you move on with your life.
Noooo, I can't let that happen. Wait... I gotta make sure I can earn a living on Newgrounds! That way I can be on Newgrounds, earn money and have an excuse to my gf for being on NG for almost the entire day!
Yeah I heard. Too bad, but there are more dragons in the sea.Like Gagsy. :P
You stay away from that woman, you hear! She's nothing but trouble.
They took half a year to fix the damn thing but a month or two later, they brought the new layout. I'm sure YouTube hates Opera users. No wait, they hate people in general. At 7/31/10 06:02 AM, Bahamut wrote:Very inconvenient. There were a few more thing indeed, but that was the one I had the biggest problem with.
I think users in general. I believe when I'm on Firefox it works just as bad as it works in Opera.
The only thing I dislike is when people put up homemade covers, guitar hero runs and live version with poor quality. It gets more and more difficult finding a good, original version of the song that way.Luckily, the better quality videos are usually at the top so you hardly need to worry about that. I've only had bad quality videos for music a few times.
Yes those tend to be the most watched ones, so they'll end up on top eventually.
Great idea! Maybe pour a little lounge in there and I think we got ourselves the ultimate metal mix.Now we're getting somewhere! The next step will be working on the goddamn music!
Yeah! Who's gonna be our songwriter?
Oh no wait! What's gonna be the name of our band?
Hardly anyone I'm guessing. He might make the occasional posts but it hardly means much. We all miss his catch-ups and it's a damn shame he spends more time on TF2 than talking to us.
Still, it's strange that after all this talk about him, he still hasn't showed his face yet. I believe he used to drop in sometimes whenever there was a discussion about him and confirm he was still alive and well.
Are you sure he didn't marry to that game?
Yeah... I can hardly imagine what this topic will look like after he catches up.One page will be nothing but replies and you won't see an achievement post in sight! Now that would be a dream come true in the LUL.
It'd be epic.

We already got two people on guitar, plus you're the only one who at least has some drumming skills! Stop thinking only about yourself man, we're all in this together remember!?

I suppose Jack is Jack Daniels Whiskey. What's SoCo?Yes Jack Daniels and SoCo is short for Southern Comfort which is a liqueur that is spiced and in similar tastes as whiskey, but not as harsh. SoCo with some lime is pretty popular.
Sounds delicious to me, especially on hot summer days. I wonder if they'll sell it in my country.

Dude, your eye is all blue. It's the classic sign of someone who did a failed attempt at picking up a girl earlier. You might tell them it's a cricket accident, but is anyone gonna believe that?

No need to throw a blanket on him. Bahamut can shapeshift himself into a dragon with a blanket on his head.
But there's gotta be an easier way to hide 12 foot tall dragon... hmmm.
A skill? You British people are silly by nature. Not as silly as Michael Schumacher, trying to turn Rubens Barichello into pate yesterday.
A German being more silly than the Brits? Unpossible.
They're easy to play. The notes are remarkably similar to a trombone, in that you don't have set notes to play, more a sliding scale.Yes! If we're gonna revolutionize metal with triangles, might as well go all the way and use a Theremin as well.At 7/29/10 03:20 AM, Coop83 wrote:
Alright, anyone here who knowns how to play one?
Cool! Since they're so easy to play, you might as well give that instrument to me. I'm sure I can do triangle and theremin at the same time.
