So, I have classes tomorrow again. I know I'll see my friends again, I know I'll see my teachers again... but really, can't I stay home for another month? Dammit.

And my parents are going to Chile tomorrow. No parents for a week, which is bad.

You covered it well - if you had said "that dragon", it would've been easier to figure out who would make it.
That would have been too much of a giveaway.

Well, if he had said someone blue, I'd be in doubt...

Yeah, I remember it being more active in my lurking days. But we are still a great place to hang out at, despite missing some users...
Yeah, it would be nice if they could return. Still, not much we can do and let's be grateful that we have several great loungers around here.

True. And really, if I won the lotto, I'd gather all of us in England for an awesome Wi/Ht week.

That reminds me of one picture by FatChaos.
Where? Which? When?
Dis guy. View at your own risk.

Among the top three dragon artists.

Nobody hates your flashes, though. Your flashes >>>>>>>>> The Room. ;)
I don't expect everyone to like my flashes. Infact, I only expect a minority to enjoy it. Sure, 110 faves for flash author is quite a lot but I'm still an underground artist.

And underground idle artist, you mean. ;P

Hahahahaha, yes! That video is great, his Wiseau impersonation was perfect!
I wish I could do an impersonation of Wiseau that well.

Hey, an idea of your 101st flash?

Hopefully. I think I always miss deposits, when I haven't done so yet. I'll try to keep it up!
Yeah, I too get paranoid about missing deposits. I sometimes think I didn't do the 5 votes for the day at all or slipped and didn't vote for the last flash. The only deposits I miss are the occasional ones for my alts but that's alright for me.

I'm pretty sure I'll end up forgetting a few deposits while I'm in classes period. I'm a forgetful person.

I guess I'll just wait until my father returns from Chile (he and my mother will go there on the 3rd and will return a week later) so we can talk about buying a new computer. I'll hold my expectations, although he complained about this computer today, so it's a step forward! :P
Here's hoping you can get a better computer. TF2 is far too demanding these days, even though it's a 2007 game.

Nah, maybe it's just my computer that's way outdated. :P

I don't think he'll quit as a whole. Even if he makes only those odd posts here & there, he'll still be around. Lurking. In the shadows. ¬¬
Well, the last thing he posted was in my birthday thread.

Which is a plus. :)

But really, even if I have a busy schedule, I'll try to catch up whenever I'm available. I'll have classes now again, and next week I'll have classes in the morning and afternoon (12 hours away from home). At night, if I don't have that much homework, I'll catch up.

Ok, then say hi for "all the Wi/Ht mates"! That covers it. :)
Yeah, that works!

And hey, try getting a signature from everyone there! Put it in a wall or something! :)

From 2 to 3 years. But I'm immortal :P

Of course. What would be from the pigeons without their master?

I'm still not sure if I REALLY want to join the Brazilian Air Force, but it would be great if it actually happened. There's a base I my city, and a couple in the south of Brazil, where I have familiars. I have to think about this...
Oh, then now I see what's going on. Think very carefully about making that decision, since it's obvious it will affect the rest of your life. Independent of whatever you choose.

Sure. I still think it's a good idea, but I'm still young enough to pick my decisions over what I'll have for a career. But I still want to do something I like.

Come to Brazil! ;P
Hell Yeah! That's one of MY dreams :P

Great, Brazilian pigeons are waiting for you. ;P

Well... we could just go to the airport, then. :P
This is a small schedule of what I would like to do if I ever travel to Brazil:

- Visit Rio and São Paulo

The two biggest cities. But don't forget Brasilia, since we are the capital!

- Take a snapshot of the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer)

I've done that when I was 6 years old, I think. ^^

- Get deep inside of the Amazon jungle and watch the river.

Tough. You'd have to walk a lot, take a lot of vaccines and... don't die. :P

- See if I have luck enough to meet Ronaldinho (if he is in the country) or Xuxa :P (same with her, lol)

Xuxa lives in Rio, so it will be easier. Ronaldinho was in Rio a while ago, he even was in a concert with 50 Cent. o_O

- Being in the legendary Brazilian Carnival

Hey, another gringo!

A pretty FABulous one!
Fab aura is so kickass that it crossed the dimension of computers to the real world.

Wait until Bahamut hears this.

Well, whenever my entire family travels, we always find a new solution for our two cats, but it always involve someone. We won't let them stay outside for so long.
I'd be nervous to leave a cat outside. Every time people tell me they do that I just think, if I had a cat it would totally run away. Cats don't like me.

Hmm, my cats stay home at night, during the day they are free to... do cat stuff. =P

I shouldn't, but then again I mustn't get dragged into real life too much :(

Oh well, nevermind.

Well, we still have the local championship going on, so we will play with our "bench players", mostly. And it's the biggest rivalry match this Sunday, and playing without the full team is risky. =/
What match will that be? Internacional against?

São Paulo FC And yes, it'll be one hell of a match.

And Pato, Nilmar, Lúcio, and even Dunga played for us. ^^
Dunga himself played?

Yeah, back in the 90. Hey, he even supports us. "My contract with Inter is for the entire life". :)

They've been broadcasting it here since 2005. Football always gives more audience than anything.
I think they might broadcast it if dutch teams ever participate, but they seldom ever do. Last time we won something big in Europe was in 2001 or something.

Ouch, that's a while ago... I never really paid attention, but do the Dutch teams do well in the Champions' League and Europe League.

Give me a quick review on how they are doing nowadays... ^^
Yeah in 1995/1996/1997 they were probably the best team in Europe. Won the Champions League first, then got to the final the year after and they had all kinds of great players like Patrick Kluivert, Marc Overmars, Edwin van der Sar, Edgar Davids and Frank de Boer. Pretty much half of the Dutch national team was playing there.

Wow, all of them in the same team? That's quite a dream team.

Then they were all bought by Barcelona, Man Unt and other major teams in Europe and since then they haven't performed that well in Europe, except in 2004 I believe when they reached the quarter or semi finals of the CL (with Ibrahimovic, Chivu and some other good players).

Ah, that... We're used with this in Brazil, most of our great players go to Europe soon after they have their big break. Pato went to Milan with only 18 years!

Currently we're still waiting for their 30th championship, but they keep coming in 2nd for the past couple of years =/

We came in 2nd in Brazil's championship last year. We've been waiting for our 4th title for 31 years now! :(

Hopefully. We have some great quality players in there, and most of them should be playing in Europe by the end of the year. Lets see how they're doing in four years time.
I'm sure the major European clubs would be very interested if the team performs alright.

Which is bad.As i stated above, they never stay in Brazil for that long...

And hey, ever noticed how he only picked the teams that were on his left side?
Hmm now that you mention it...

Personally I was already under the impression that there might be some person manipulating the octopus' pick. Maybe by placing different types of food, but it could be that someone knew the octopus only went to the left. Still, that person would have done a pretty good job predicting Serbia and Spain winning.

Heh, yeah. We've said here that the octopus isn't the one we should be praising, but the guy who puts the flags on the left side. :P

Hmm, maybe if they held it like a mini-world cup, on different places. Example, all the teams travel to a same country, and play their a bunch of games there. I don't know, maybe it would work, but not everyone would be interested in some matches...
They could to that, but that would mean the players will have to leave their clubs for quite some time. Unless of course the FIFA also decides to halt all the national competitions, but then we'd need a couple of weeks extra in May and June to finish the leagues.

Just like they halt them when we have qualifying matches with the current system. I'd like it.

Although our main transportation system are and will always be road transport. We barely have trains, and the nautical one isn't that big everywhere.
You would say that travelling by ship might be handy in Brazil, but then again the car is probably much faster if you drive along the coast.

True, but our roads aren't that great either. Not all of them have "double tracks", some of them have major holes, some get jammed during busier days, the ones in the North / Northeast are lame... and we have to pay for them. =(

When I was young, the best advice I had from my dad was to put my face behind my hands, so that way I would catch the ball. For the first few years of my career, it never worked, as I'd stop the ball from hitting my face, but not take the catch.

Then I took a really sharp catch with no time to react and I've taken about 20-30 catches since, which is pretty good, even though you can go weeks between victims.

Nah, 102nd. I may do something for Clock Day but it will be on my alt!

I'm more forgetful when it comes to depositing for others. There's a chance my mind can slip and some people lose a few deposits because I was a forgetful bastard. However, I'll help out certain users when they need someone to deposit for them.

Here's hoping you can get a better computer. TF2 is far too demanding these days, even though it's a 2007 game.
Nah, maybe it's just my computer that's way outdated. :P

I'd say it's both. My laptop gets the occasional struggles with settings it's meant to be good with. I think Valve need to give it better optimization.

But really, even if I have a busy schedule, I'll try to catch up whenever I'm available. I'll have classes now again, and next week I'll have classes in the morning and afternoon (12 hours away from home). At night, if I don't have that much homework, I'll catch up.

At 7/31/10 04:01 AM, Haggard wrote: I've seen a view videos on youtube recorded by people that where in this "stampede", it was really shocking. :(
I don't think I have it in me to watch those.

One video in particular was horrobile, but it has been taken down by the uploader. He was right in the huge crowd that tried to reach those stairs.

Does anybody know the cause of the panic yet? It must have been pretty major to cause a stampede like that.

From what I read so far it went like this:
The festival area was full, so the police build a barrier so no one could enter.
There where some barriers on the way to the festival area, but it was so crowded that the people who where standing right in front of those fences pushed them away. Some people told they where nearly crushed to death if they hadn't moved away the fences.

Now there was: 1 barrier in front of the festival area. No barriers on the way to it. Of course the tunnels and that little place right in front of the festival area got really really crowded. Some videos from above then show some dangerous "wave movements" in the crowd (it can cause people to fall over). Some tried to climb a nearby container, others climbed some billboards. Either to get to the festival area or to just be out of the crowd.

Then those goddamn stairs had been opened. I think there was a security guard at first, but he left his place at some time. Other people thought, those stairs where the entrance to the festival area and tried to reach it. There where no signs at all that led the way. People told they where really confused when they reached the place right in front of the love parade because they didn't know where to go. Then they saw people climbing the stairs and thought that this was the way in.

Well, more and more people tried to reach the stairs and as a result of this it got so crowded some people where crushed to death.

The strangest thing is: Other people standing right next to where the panic happened didn't even realize the situation was serious. They had enough room to stand comfortably...

Always is around here fortunately :D

Yep, care to join in the conversation about Auz's girlfriend taking him away from Newgrounds? Or do you have any other plans for our revolution?

It won't be later on when you're heading face to face with other active depositers.
Suppose you're right.

Yep, right now I can't afford to miss any deposits. There's one guy who's tied with me for almost a year now and I need him to miss two deposits to secure a spot and I've got to make sure I don't miss a single deposit for a long time.

Oh hi internets, I am Tommy Wishow.
I am from...location undefined. Funny story HUHHHHHHHHHHH?

I can't even pronounce my own name.

We're not going to take over General forum at this rate. :P
I feel so useless :(

Well, now is the time to listen to Eye of the Tiger and build yourself back up.

Do you know which model it is? ^^

Uhh, I don't, sorry.

But not on Friday or Saturday.
Well yes. But Friday (at least the evening) and Saturday are week end. Not "during the week". :P

Well, Friday still counts since it'll be weekday timetables.

I agree with what you said. XD
But on the other hand: Marty McFly has been to 2015, so the world can't end in 2012. No matter how often we agree.

Oh... Yeah, we won't make the world explode in 2012 since Marty saw 2015 and everything is fine. Speaking of 2015, I'm due to reach level 60 then.

There's Gagsy, Fagamut, Wyvern, EmoDragon and... That's about it.
Wait, Gagsy is a dragon? I must have missed where she had her coming out. ^^

Yep, she's a dragon all right. That's why it was once said that we'd be a great couple. It also explains that story Coop once written about us.

I don't, I don't think he's the type to make have tons of alts even if it a Futurama reference. He does have the machine to contend with.

One more can't hurt.

Nope, I'm not overstating at all. It was TWO adult rated pictures of myself and one of them had me getting it on with a dragoness while the other showed how proud I am with my naked body.
Well okay. Ha! You know it still could use a review. I love comments good or bad.

I'm well aware it could do with more reviews. Just give me time to get around to what I want to say about it and in the meantime, maybe I can get someone else to draw Bahamut porn. :P Two isn't enough, I'm afraid.

Nah, read the reasons above.

Ah yes, the responsibilities. Still, you gotta expect this to happen again and hopefully you can invite your friends around for a party.

Now I hope you win the lottery. I guess England wouldn't cost as much as us all going to Japan. If we do have the ultimate Wi/Ht? meet up, myself and Coop will treat you all to Alton Towers! Isn't that right, Coop?
Alton Towers? What is that, exactly?

One of the major theme parks in the UK. It has some awesome roller coasters. It's also the theme park of my childhood. I went there many times as a kid and saw all the changes they went through over the last 20 years.

Idling? Do I get any hats for idling as a flash artist? :P
Depends on how generous the droppings are. ;P

Well, I haven't been given any hats since.

Nah, 102nd. I may do something for Clock Day but it will be on my alt!
Yay, new Bahamut content after 2 years!

I'm not promising anything.

I'm more forgetful when it comes to depositing for others. There's a chance my mind can slip and some people lose a few deposits because I was a forgetful bastard. However, I'll help out certain users when they need someone to deposit for them.
I have never deposited for any other accounts other than mine. And nor do I plan on ever leaving my account for someone to take care of.

Yeah, you've stated before that you won't give the account to anyone else for them to deposit for you while you're away.

I'd say it's both. My laptop gets the occasional struggles with settings it's meant to be good with. I think Valve need to give it better optimization.
Yeah, maybe they added so much the actual requirements for it have changed. And I still support the "slow-computer" mode idea. ^^

Exactly! It's not fair on those with lower specs than the average desktop, especially when the requirements for the game keeps going up.

You are excused if you don't do much posting as a result.
I'm trying to keep it up. It's 11PM and I'm really dozy, but posts ahoy!

You did it for us. <3

It would be nice if I got people to sign something but what the hell can I get them to sign on?
Hmm... an Iron Maiden shirt! Everyone loves Iron Maiden!

Most of the shirts are black, though... Yeah, that won't work at all. And no, they're not signing my Behemoth chicken as I think there'll be enough signed on it already.

Man, why in hell I always make this dragon feel upset or mad THAT easily?

You shouldn't fall into these traps so easily. You were lucky this time.

Also, years ago life wasn't that hard at all. Just because this stupid crisis the world seems to be pretty fucked up. Oh well, it was the same (maybe even worse) back in 1929 with the great depression. The world managed to get through with it, we can beat another crisis again.

Hell, a few years back it didn't seem hard to get a job. That's why I'll always think that year I had in college was nothing but a fucking waste. If I just focused on employment as soon as I left school, I could have gotten somewhere ages ago but I suppose now that I've got a job, there's nothing to worry about. Well, until the contract ends, that is.

Yep. Now would you settle with being a pigeon with muscles? Well, if it's even possible for pigeons to bodybuild. o_O Yeah, I have crazy thoughts at times.
Not necessarily being strong and having muscles is actually looking sexy. Beauty also counts :P

Yes, beauty is a strong factor but being strong impresses a pigeoness (is that the right word for female pigeons), you know. ;)
