Looking forward to the final of Queen's today... if Murray wins he'll be the first British player to win Queen's club in something like 70+ years.

No, I meant quit Uni - I only lasted 6 months and now I'm much better off for doing so.
Understood.
I think if I were to quit uni it would be the worst possible choice I could make... but these things are subjective.
Damned good mod, decent chap and well known martial artist on NG. Not bad.
I appreciate that, and hopefully I'll make it to a few more meetups in the future and meet some more of the userbase to spread the word of my existence, lol. Speaking of which, I might drop Luis a PM and see if he's planning to organise a London meet this year.
Whistle status isn't the be all end all of becoming a review mod, though. Unless you have a garbage ;P
The gay porn helps as well :P
The more gay porn the better, really. We all know that's why Transformer was modded ;P

How did you do on your first (?) year by the way?
Not entirely sure yet as I haven't gotten my results through, but I put a decent amount of work in (especially compared to some people I know, lol), so hopefully I'll have done reasonably well. I try to aim for A's and B's for the most part, and only got one C in a piece of coursework throughout the year... so yeah. It's basically all on the exam results.
It's strange how when I was at school and sixth form college, I never really applied myself in the slightest, but at university I've made the effort to do fairly well. I know that I could still try even harder than I did this year, but the fact alone that I've actually become self-motivated is pretty cool.

Haha, my friends aren't as obsessed with NG as I am. Sure, some of them have exceeded 10k EXP, but they haven't focused on BBS and B/P very much (besides Clock Day, lol).
None of my friends actually frequent NG anymore. The guy who introduced me to the site signed up in February '04, but he doesn't visit the site these days. One of my housemates signed up to the site in '06, but he doesn't really use his account other than for favouriting the odd flash submission.
I'm amazed at how you can manage to get through all these nights. I wouldn't even last that long.
You get used to it after a while, lol.
The worst thing was re-fresher's week, which was the last week of the university year... my friends and I had all gone so crazy with various substances over the previous month that by the time the final week came around, we really had to force ourselves to actually go out. Had a few good nights, but the fact that we actually had to MAKE ourselves go out in the first place was pretty awful, haha.

Yeah, it certainly isn't as much fun if you don't know the users .
None of them seem to want to talk to me because I'm a big scary mod :(
lol
:(
Wow, you still remember that?
I have a pretty random long-term memory. I remember some things like phone numbers, birthdays, memorable dates, little anecdotes, etc.

A-Ha - Take On Me
I always preferred the Reel Big Fish version, to be honest. The horns just adds that extra somethign to it :)
I saw Reel Big Fish live in Brixton, and they played that song last. Good times... must have been around 5 years ago now.
