I hate to do this, but i really need to. I need to take the next month off until about the the 12th of June so i can do good on my final marking period and exams. My grades are slipping and being active on newgrounds posting everyday is getting hard. I have not been posting as much as i would have like to in the past weeks due to this. You see i attend a college preparatory high school that is very hard at most times. So i need to do this.

I will need someone to deposit my experience points until then and get some b/p while there at it. The only requirements are that you have to be active in this forum and deposit everydayfor me. I would prefer you to be a Wi/Ht regular or member. So please respond tonight or tomorrow at latest.

I´ve seen that last penalty request (mainly made by Ballack), but that was really bullshit. Sure the defender got hit on the shoulder, but there was absolutely no intension to touch the ball with his arm.

The case with Pique was clearly a penalty though.

Agreed about Pique, that was the only 2nd half shout I thought had credibility, there was another one involving Drogba in the first half where he got his shirt pulled and then tripped, but I guess his reputation caught up with him.

I just saw the red card. As far as I could see it was indeed a bit unfair. Or at least, it did not seem like Abidals intention was to trip that other player. It seemed like Abidal accidentily brought the Chelsea attacker off balance. It was all a bit unfortunate and not worth a red card.

I didn't even see any contact after the first few replays, to me it looked like Anelka tripped over himself. On second reflection though there may have been some minor contact, but it seemed accidental at worst, so it was still harsh in my view.

As I type this it's looking like Drogba is about to punch the ref even though it's already over, disgraceful. UEFA might even have to get involved.

Yeah, I can imagine it´s frustrating to lose 3 minutes in the extra time, but as far as I could see it was fair and square mostly. Drogda had a great chance to decide the game, but he missed. So I guess they mainly have themselves to blame.

Very true. Apparently UEFA will wait for the ref's report before deciding whether to charge Chelsea with failing to control their players, but I can't see them not charging them with something.

I learned this a few weeks ago: It doesn't matter if the foul was intentional or not, a foul is a foul. So, even if a player slipped on wet ground and then accidentally tackles the opponent, he still can get a red card if he blasted a scoring chance.

I have not seen the scene in question so I don't know if the foul itself was so bad that a red card was justified or not. But the intention doesn't matter in this case.

Also I think the ref will never be seen in the Champions League (or an international match) again, he was VERY bad from what I have read so far.

Also also, Barca stands no chance against ManU.

My dad told me something similar yesterday. Never heard of it before, and it seems really harsh. But on the other hand, it can be hard to tell whether something was intentional or not sometimes.
