I couldn't understand a thing when I first arrived in Glasgow. After some time I understood most of it, but only a few seconds (and sometimes even only after a few MINUTES) after people said something.
In Edinburgh and Stirling I didn't had any problems understanding people. Maybe because I was already used to glaswegian accent, so that the other accents didn't seem as terrible to me. ^^

Funny thing is that I have more problems understanding british accents than american accents. When I watch movies in english, I almost never have any trouble understanding american actors, but when actors speak with a very british accent, I often have to watch things twice to get what they are saying.

Actually, that's a good point. It's hard to say what should be done to those flashes since assassination flashes have been part of Newgrounds since day one, but on the other hand, a flash about killing Obama isn't such a great idea.
