OMG OMG OMG, gfoxclock is not only level 42 (sweeeeet), but he ranked up!
Yep, I finally hit 2500 b/p with my alt account a few days ago. He's now a Private.
Which is funny, of course, because before the redesign nearly 1.5 years ago, he was well past EG Private under the old rank system. CRAZY NEW RANKS. #;-}>
So anyway... very good. After 1.5 years of Police Captain, I was getting a bit tired of the rank on him... and since gfox and gfoxcook do not rank up, it's up to gfoxclock to give me some VARIETY, ffs...
At 10/20/08 11:42 PM, gfoxcook wrote: And now, with that... I will see you guys (in this thread, I mean.... I HOPE to be on the rest of the forum tonight and/or tomorrow)

Wow, I beat my estimate!
(sorry... Far Cry 2 is being released on Steam in around.... 44 hours... and... it will own EVERY FREE WAKING MOMENT I have... for several weeks, guaranteed)
Indeed. 3 weeks, to be precise. I'm at the end of the game now, after 20 days, and'll prolly finish it tomorrow, right at 21 days since it dropped.
100 hours of SP funs. Game can be speedrunned in around 12 hours, most people take 25-50 hours... I ain't most people. 100 hours is nothing compared to how long I took to finish FF12, anyway. #;-}>

Also, my gf watched a few more episodes (because she studies medicine and House is a show where the characters actually use medical vocabulary), but she didn't like it, for the same reasons as me. ;)
HERETICS!
When I watched it, he only had three assistants (I guess those are now the old assistants) and I think 2 other supporting characters (his boss and his friend).
Yep, it's a much bigger cast now that the old assistants are still at the same hospital but the new assistants are in place. House actually spent most of last season with 20 assistants, and fired some every ep until he got down to the final 3 he uses now. Fun fun fun!
Maybe I will. I mean, I even gave CSI: Miami a second chance (and boy it WASN'T worth it. :( ).
How dare you even compare House to that silly CSI version (which shouldn't be compared to the original CSI, speaking of which)!

You know, since very little of my catch-up replies in this topic are directed at you... there's no rule that says you have to reply to every single line in my posts in here. I've cut 80-90% of any posts of yours I reply to, hoping you'll get the message... but... you never do. So here I am, saying it nice and straight.

You wouldn't have to guess if you'd actually READ what I say now and then. I specifically recall saying, at some point in October (maybe not in LUL itself, though) that gfoxclock is my alt, and gfox is my alt alt. Hell, I probably said it 2-3 times in 2-3 topics. One of those times, I'd wager, was to you specifically.
Oy vey.
Well, back in 2003, it was filled with cock jokes, memes, and uninteresting topics as well.I'm sure Bahamut thinks differently of that! He liked General in 2005!
What the fuck? Dude, you're replying to me saying that in 2003 General was blahblahblah... and saying "BAHAMUT BEGS TO DIFFER, because blahblahblah 2005."
Do you realise there's a 2 YEAR DIFFERENCE between 2003 and 2005? I mean, at least 12-13 months different, and at most 35-36 months different. Somewhere in between those.
Bahamut liking General in 2005 has shit all to do with what I said about General in 2003. And you missed the point that DESPITE General having shit it in 2003, it was a great forum IN SPITE OF that.
But it wasn't a craphole. Don't ask me to explain how the transformation happened... but it did.DAMN YOU! You made me curious now!!! I... just.. have to ask!
Hope you didn't hold your breath for the past 3 weeks, cause you ain't getting an answer.

Dude... anger management. Look into it.
And with that? I am done. See how I only replied to like 5% of your post? Yeah. Try the same back to my posts, plz. Reply to the part where I reply to you. You cannot possibly find everything I say to everyone else (who isn't you) interesting enough to reply to. All of us reply to people who weren't replying to us, but not to 100% of that. If we did, this topic would be 50,000 pages long by now, and I wouldn't be in here catching up.

"Its my desire" doesn't make any sense. It would be like saying "Her my desire" instead of "She's my desire." ... you ... do see that, right? #;-}>
Possibly unnecessary possessives vs. "is" contractions lesson FTW.
That's just it... "it's" isn't possessive. It's is a contraction.
This is what confuses many ESL people. They learn "Greg's" as an alternate "of Greg" possessive form, and they think that all 's-es = possessive, when of course some of them mean "is"... ahh, English. We love your insanity. I think.

I know that Birmingham, Alabama is situated in the Deep South, as opposed to New England, like the rest of the places are.I'm about halfway between Worcester and Birmingham. Yes, I am aware that there is a Birmingham in Alabama. When the pioneers came across from England, Holland, Spain, Portugal and France, they named many places after towns where they had once lived. Boston, New York (Formerly New Amsterdam), Worcester, Birmingham, Plymouth etc.Well, Birmingham, Alabama wasn't exactly named by the original pioneers, but... yeah. While the European naming schemes of American towns is especially prevalent in the original colonies... all 50 states bear evidence of it to varying degrees.
That's nothing to do with it. There's plenty of direct named-by-pioneers-after-places/people-in -Europe cities (and states, for that matter--Virginia, Carolina, Georgia) in the Deep South. But those are on the Atlantic coast.
i.e. it's about original 13 colonies/states versus the 35/37 (contiguous contintental/overall) states further westward via Manifest Destiny. IOW, Charleston, South Carolina... original city o' teh US in the South... versus... Lafayette, Louisiana... not so much, due to much further west.
Similarly, Lexington, Massachusetts... original city o' teh US in the North... versus... Lexington, Kentucky... not so much, due to much further west.
Anyway, point is, Alabama wasn't settled until long after the original pioneers is what I was getting at, that's all. So weren't tons of places in the North, from the original New England/Mid-Atlantic colonies westward over the Appalachians and towards Chicago, say.
Come on Greg, comparing Bahamut to anyone of that... calibre is really harsh.Tribute, by Tenacious D?Bad ass idea. Too bad Bahamut is lame and doesn't know about things like... say.. that... or Star Wars. He's still no DD, at least. At least he knows about Danger! High Voltage. :::nods enthusiastically:::
Actually, when it comes to the both of them being Star Wars haters... they deserve equal harshness. I punish based on behaviour, not personality. Bahamut's a cooler cat than DD, but I am equally disapproving of their similar stances on that topic.
Hold me back, Coop. I think I'm about to do something I'll regret...Let it go, Greg. It's not worth it.
