A bit of both, I think. At times they are like extended episodes, but there are cinematic elements in the films/extended episodes.

As for the Simpsons movie I didn't mind it, not simpsons but still funny enough.

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Family Guy. However, I don't mind watching some episodes every now and again whenever I'm at my sister's flat or she's up here. Despite not being so keen on Family Guy, I do agree with her that it's funnier than the newer Simpsons.

I don't remember that part and I guess that's a good thing. The less I remember about that film, the better. However, completely forgetting about that Spiderpig "joke" won't be an easy task.

That's the one perk that working has over school with relation to holidays - I get to choose when I take mine (more or less), where you have to take holidays when school says so. Still, I only get 20 days per year to myself, so I've got to choose where to have them, like the week of the 1st of December :)
