I'd rather drop or miss catches when I'm a rookie than like I did this cricket season - I was the hotshot, who could take snap reaction catches. This year, I caught none of them and the 10 chances I had were all dropped. That was very embarrassing, especially when I took some spectacular catches in practice.

I know that sucks because I'm like you. But I found out that I can surprise when I've got the bat :D
But at least give your best try when playing because if you give up, THAT is embarrasing.

Congratulations - it's always good to do something like that. I've got the aim next year of scoring more runs in a season than ever before (50) and also for passing my personal best in a single innings (19). My bowling has got some progress to make and I'd like to think that I can take a fair few wickets this season, I took 3 last year, but went for a lot less runs than expected.
