As I noticed on NG Log the other day, my b/p ratio is almost to 1.300... it was 1.301 yesterday, I think it was... and today it said it was 1.300 when I logged my data with 27,690 saves.

But actually (it was rounding):

36000 / 27692 = 1.3000144446... etc.

When my next save ticks over momentarily... we'll have... my MOST POINTLESS ACHIEVEMENT EVAR:

36000 / 27693 = 1.2999675008!

WOOT! BLAM/SAVE RATIO UNDER 1.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FTW.

It, and its expansion packs and sequel, TIE Fighter, were the reason I first got a sound card and a CD-ROM drive (at first I was playing it on my mom's computer off floppies and without sound). Anyway, the games were awesome, and they got me to read the Timothy Zahn trilogy (three books set years after Return of the Jedi, and probably the greatest holders of a "wishlist for an eventual film sequel trilogy... which since George Lucas has sworn he won't make it... will have to be made by his kids or something" to most fans). And then came TEH INTERNET, which for me started in 1994.

BTW, the hard drive on that computer in 1993 that I first played X-Wing (and other greats like Doom and Syndicate and X-Com) was 80 megs large. The game took up almost 15 megs off a floppy install (CD-ROM version may have kept more stuff on the disc, I can't remember... either way, that's GOT to be a personal record for "highest % of a hard drive taken up by one game" in my 6+ desktop PC history). #;-}>

Man... the things a brain can remember from 15 years ago.

I have Vista on my new desktop, and it only has IE7, and I only even know that because other programs were opening it at first until I switched the default to Firefox (I had already told Firefox to make itself the default, and then told IE to not ask me to do that, but then I found a place within Control Panel where there were three option circles... one for IE, one for Firefox, and one for Opera, and NONE of them was selected, so apparently my decision hadn't been made "official" for all programs... just for opening .html files and links from SOME programs...

So I fixed it right then and there to do Firefox for everything automatically, I use Opera when I want to, and I don't use IE at all.

I think I said this a few weeks ago, but it warms my heart to see multiple users with "36" in their names on this forum. This is a Wi/Ht? golden age indeed for my number-craving brain parts. #;-}>

No you got it, but there's like 0.01% of people in Ireland only speak Irish. English is the language we speak, but not many people have a very good grasp of the language at all. With my mother having to dumb down her language around people here because she's from england

BTW, as I finished typing the above, it occured to me that while "British Isles" is the only way I know to refer to all of the UK + Ireland, that people in Ireland might not like having the rest of their island besides N. Ireland referred to as part of a British ANYthing, even if just a series of islands, and not a nation or country or kingdom or empire....

The ones with "these" don't work very well if you're not ON THE ISLANDS IN QUESTION, for one thing.

I think I'm classed as Anglo-Celtic but I'm about 3/4 Irish, or even more. And consider myself completely Irish, but I do have to defend my birthplace alot too. As I love both places equally :D

Both Germany and Spain play attractive, offensive football so to me it would also be okay if Spain won. I have to admit, they do deserve it a bit more than Germany. If Russia makes it to the finals it would also be fine with me. I just hope Germany can beat Turkey, preferably with a 4-0 result or something similar. That would put them back in their places =/

If I would of deposited everyday I would be the same level as you. Too bad I didn't have internet until 07. I mean I posted all of the posts that I have just this year, so I would of had 20,000 posts at this rate, been on the top B/P level, and been level 37. That would of been crazy, but it's to late to go back and change that.

Not tried the new Opera yet and I don't think I will. Despite some of the changes on Firefox 3, I'm happy with the browser I'm using now. I've adapted to it.

I've got mostly Scotch/Irish/English in me, my mom's mom was 100% Polish, so I'm a quarter Polish, and there's a tad of French in me. Possibly a tad of German, too (my mom's dad always denied it, but it may have been leftover stereotyping and denial from WWII).
