Or not. 4,500 posts isn't that big a deal, and probably won't get you any congrats for it here. 2,500 and 7,500 might get you some congrats, as they're 1/4 and 3/4 of 10k respectively, but 4,500 isn't a very special number. Wait until 5,000.

I do agree that waiting till 5,000 probably would make more sense as it is more of a milestone than 4,500. But if someone wants to post 4,500 posts here, let them. It is a pretty big deal. I mean look at me, I've been on NG for 3 1/2 years and I don't even have half his total. I got congrats for my 1,000th post, so I would give him congrats for 4,500. But I wouldn't come back here posting about 5,000 as posting a postcount milestone every 500 posts seems a little excessive to me...Probably once every 1,000 is good. :P
